Hi thank you. I think I still need to tweak it because we parked within probably five mins of entering car park. But that the walk to the aquarium is about 5 minutes from the car park. Plus it was the queues at the entrance to the aquarium that were huge not the car park. I think the time I bought the aquarium ticket was relevant because that was what led me to believe the timings were out in the car park because it just wasn’t physically possible to do it in the time frame they were suggesting I entered the car park, if you see what I mean. So do you think I don’t need to mention that then.0

Hi I have emailed my defence to the justice gov Uk. I have also posted it today with insurance for £1000 to cover if it arrives after 1pm on Monday. Do I need to fill in the online form about the claim to and just put in the defence box that I have send email to justice gov Uk.
I had to scan documents using my iPhone which saved it as a pdf as couldn’t get my wretched computer to work. Then emailed this. That will be an ok format for the court ? As just read if they can’t ooen it they receipt as non received.
Thank you again for your excellent help. The extra points you added were brilliant. I just hope I have done it in time list sleep worrying about it all. Had to apply for a job so that had to take priority unfortunately but at least I got the job.0 -
Presumably you have already done the AOS, so there should be no need to put anything in the on-line form - not even a full stop. If you do, it will likely be accepted as your defence. Courts should be able to open .pdfs. You can check the progress of this on MCOL where you should be able to see your defence received.0

Yes I have done the AOS so that’s it for now then. Thank you.0

They accepted my defence and the defendant has filed a defence which I didn’t get a copy which I think is a bit unfair when they have mine !! Now I have a notice of proposed allocation to small claims track. So I think I only need to fill in form n180 and not box c1 as I believe it is for the small claims track is that correct ?? Do I agree to settlement and mediation ? I think not as they will still insist on payment. Is it no to expert evidence ? Do you guys count here ? My daughter was a witness but I’m not sure I want to drag her to court is that ok to say this. Thank you for your response in advance.0

Yes for the small claims track. No to mediation. No to expert witness, posts on an Internet forum do not count. By expert they mean forensic type evidence/witness not Joe Public.0

Hi I have finally had my court hearing this week. I stammered a bit with very sweaty palms but used my evidence laid out in my defence well when the claimant cross examined. The judge was lovely and talked me through everything I had to do.
I took on a paralegal and I WON. Thank you so much everyone who has answered my posts and especially Coupon mad who helped with my defence. One point was invaluable about the time synchrony. I even managed to claim some expenses. Now I feel on top of the world. Thank you so much everyone here and my daughters support in the day. You are amazing. 0 -

Well done  BWLegal/Britannia bite the dust yet again
I think it is becoming very clear that word has spread throughout the courts about these dodgy claims and especially the fake £60 being added on.0
