There was a double mattress left at the flat my sister bought. We managed to fold it up and put it in her Nissan Micra and take it to the tip. The tip is next to the supermarket so we got shopping on the same trip. Extra costs absolutely nothing!
Really not worth the hassle of chasing it up.0 -

The sellers solicitor, surely has to be paid by the seller ?
Presumably the buyer has no contractual relationship as a basis for charging with the sellers solicitor?
Our area charges £23 but I’d probably just take it to the tip (because the collection point isn’t walking distance with a mattress).0 -
