    Well, I've only just stumbled across this thread and it was all going well until you got indignant when people suggested that fault lay with you. Perhaps it's best not to "hang out" in places where an admission of your own mistake leads to honest appraisals of the situation that aren't what you want to hear.

    You got your refund - allegedly - so all's well that ends well.

    OP, because of your fragile nature you might be best consulting a solicitor for advice in future. You'll be paying them, so they'll only tell you what you what to hear and you can demand they be kind to you.

    Going completely off topic now the OP has a resolution he's happy with, that's a pretty good price for what appears to be a decent low end budget phone.
