That sounds like progress Dancemum.
(((Hugs))) for Frodders.
So the numbers for croquet went up to 20, then 19, then 14 and finally 11 turned up. We have enough food to feed us for a few days and the freezer's going to be well stocked for quite a while. Everything is washed up and all the food's in the fridge so I've stopped at last.
Thanks for the listies Valli and Natty. I'll be back when I've finished putting everything away from today but that won't be until tomorrow.Better is good enough.0 -
Old fridge freezer emptied and dragged outside. Floor and wall behind it cleaned, all ready for the new one tomorrow.

Hi all, thanks for lists and am really quite determined to be in!
Hard day today; had a major melt down - swore and shouted in front of kids and threw a cup of tea over DH. Not good. Won't dwell on it but OKish again now.
For those of you who list on Flea bay, is it best to list things at 0.99 in an auction more or less whatever they are or do as a Buy It Now? Pretty new to this and want to get the best price I can but not push it and wonder if Auction is best option.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
Mumof2 - it depends on what the item is. I recently listed an item £7.50; nothing doing. Listed it at £5 and got £6. Also charge postage and bear in mind ebay take 10% of that too. So if postage is £2.90 charge £3.30 and you'll get £2.97.
If you're new to selling though you want to build good feedback, so a few at 99p might sell and get you some.
Leave feedback for your buyers when they pay.
Squirrel away some appropriate packaging then you won't have to pay for any. You can get free bubblewrap from the F&V section of supermarkets. I always ask if I may take it.
Search for some completed listings for similar items to see what they're going for.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear0 -
@Natty - I can't get much done with DH home either. Currently we're working about the same shift, makes it hard.
(((Mumof2))))
Well I have got to get up earlier if I'm going to get my stuff done, that's for sure. To do that, I've got to get these hot flashes under control.
Tadas:
Morning Routine
Fed dog
Fed cats
Grocery shopped
Groceries put away
DH made lunch so I didn’t have to
Laundry gathered
1st Load washing
Ran DW
PU/PA Bedroom
PU/PA Kitchen
Logged into Payroll
Paid work for 8.5 hrs
Have an hour or so before DH is home, going to see what I can accomplish. Mopping the kitchen floor will definitely have to wait until tomorrow, but I'll try to get most of Level 2 done tonight....0 -
Thanks Valli; good advice as ever!
Also thanks for the hugs JillyAnn. Are you a fellow sufferer of hot flushes? They're the bane of my life at the moment even now it's cooler still struggling.
DH left at 6.15 so I'm wide awake and having my breakfast now; thought I'd get on with stuff before S gets up then off riding after he's had breakfast. Done myself a list of stuff to do and it's a fair bit so early start will help.
Catch you later guys xFlymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
Yesterday I did get some things done, not as much as I would have liked but then I never do so no point having regrets.
WM 2, TD 2, HHI & put away 2
DW 2
Travel cot found, dismantled, washed and reassemble correctly so ready for family at the weekend
High chair found and washed, thank you to DD2 who was instrumental in these 2 tasks
Roast chicken dinner cooked and enjoyed by all, followed by family time in front of tv
Meals planned for rest of the week that we're here and it doesn't require shopping so good news.
Working all day today and it's going to be a challenge as we have had some negative comments from a student in this weeks group and I've got to go and try and make it fun for him, hard enough to keep them engaged nevermind once they have decided they don't (or won't) understand. So off to contemplate motivating 13 year old boy whilst I wash my hair.
Making my own lunch so good for budget and I didn't spend anything yesterday.
Off we go!

Morning all
I am back with you. Spending the whole day cleaning yesterday made me realise that somehow I need to find the time to fly a little every day. So this morning I have finished off the kitchen (mopped floor and cleaned cupboard fronts) and tidied the lounge. Cant do bedroom (DH in bed) but will tackle some final bits in there later.
Have also ordered some decent vacuum bags so that I can store my summer clothes in the top of the wardrobe, they get good reviews so we will see.
Paid stuff next. Have a good Tuesday everyone x0 -
Morning
Got up fed cat, now having a treat and back in bed, with my laptop.
I'll get up at 8am
Long list of boring (to me ) stuff to do.
Also need to look at a planning application on local council web site, as it seems a very well known fast food drive through outlet wants to open a unit / restaurant just up the road from me, once I have understood where and traffic flow, I may / may not want to object.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Morning all. Hope you're all ok.
YSL - I use vacuum bags for lots of things, clothes out of season, spare duvets and pillows etc, find them really good for not taking up too much space and keeping everything fresh.
Today is my last day off so I intend to clean my office today to make it a welcoming room tomorrow, and also do the ironing. Dogs are back so there will be dog walking and if the rain holds off, I plan to finally cut the grass.
I may look at the list and I may sort the shoe cupboard.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0
