Lenovo tablet won't connect to hotel wifi

I am on holiday in greece. First day my tablet worked fine connecting to hotel wifi. Then yesterday it stopped connecting.
It finds the hotel network connects but the prompt to connect thro never happens. It won't sync with my Garmin watch or connect to my lumix camera either.
I have switched it on and off, restarted it. Reset network
I don't want to hard reset it until I get home and back it up to pc.
Anyone got any suggestions.
Had to borrow my sons tab!et toask this question.

Thanks

had same problem hotel in spain took tablet to reception complained and they logged in for me on a different password -- i believe to stop everyone using wi fi -- no problems after that
  • If none of the above helps try "forgetting" the WiFi connection in settings and then re-scan.

Tried rebooting, forgetting and rescanning. None of it works. Just bugs me that even Garmin and camera won't sync with the tablet either and worried it's a bigger problem.

try connecting at another location other than the hotel

or simply try your mobile's hotspot wifi to tablet

there's something else going on if the camera and garmin are not connecting are these connections bluetooth or wifi?
  • We had similar problems last week in Kos, basically the hotels rubbish WiFi

The camera is WiFi to the tablet. The watch connects mainly by BT but final stage i think it Wi-Fi linked so doesn't connect properly.

We are quite remote no bars or other restaurants nearby to try to connect to.

Just have to keep pinching my sons fire tablet to check my emails

You're on holiday - can you not switch off for a couple of days?
If you put your general location in your Profile, somebody here may be able to come and help you.
