    Thank you both so much - it's actually one of the very large Tesco Extra 24hr stores. (Where I've actually worked 1day many years ago as a locum optician)! Lol.

    Regarding the Popla code - is this something i need to apply for myself? I haven't done that. (as i thought the appeal from the forum would've the done the job of getting the cancellation response from them).

    Just a quick update, so I emailed the CEO of Tesco, and have received this reply (below) so far. I await their actual response. Will update (hopefully with some news soon!🤞). Did you get this kind of interim reply from them before cancellation by Tesco @beamerguy? Ps. as you said the reply did come from the CEO.customerservice email address.

    Did you get this kind of interim reply from them before cancellation by Tesco
    To whom is that question addressed? No regular here gets a PPC Parking Charge unless they are looking to deliberately acquire one!

    Mine was in 24 hrs, it was cancelled. It maybe due to
    holidays but they will reply

    Guess it was me as I have said a few times that I got
    a ticket in a small tesco express and accused Tesco of
    self ticketing by their staff ..... immediately cancelled
