    Hi All,
My Son in Law has now had a letter saying that if the £160.00 is not paid they advise their clients to proceed with court action. They ask for him to contact them so a payment plan can be arranged . I have been in contact with the CEO of the Range still waiting for a reply, but won't hold my breath. Any suggestions as to how to proceed
    Thank you

You are talking about the retards DRP again.

DRP talk the biggest load of cr*p..... the idiots CANNOT
tell the PPC to start court action. COMPLETE IDIOTS

NO .... your son-in-law does not arrange a payment plan,
DRP ARE MONEY SCAMMERS WHO ARE 100% POWERLESS
AND LIVE IN THE CLOUDS ..... NOTHING THEY CAN DO

What DRP can do is go back to the sewers where they came from

NO CONTACT WHATSEOVER WITH THESE RETARDS
  • Have emailed Steve Clark, am waiting on a reply, will update as and when, thank you. Son in law and Daughter have considerable health issues at the moment which are getting worse so have had to concentrate on them, once again thank you for all your advice

Steve Clark will be on the case. Give him a URL link to read this thread.

He is used to us here, reads a lot of MSE threads and has seen this issue before.

What, the URL is the top of this page where it says in the bar along the top:

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5883675/drp

That is the link you NEED to give to Steve!

I did tell you how to email him and what to say, not just email your own words, but to mention the fact you are getting advice on MSE, and a link to THIS THREAD - and the fact we know he has a dossier about Smart Parking repeatedly not issuing PCNs.

Did you attach copies of the first letter, at least, to your email? Give him something to work with and some information that explains what the issue is and that you are on MSE right here.

I said all of this, ages ago:
Like all the other similar cases, please email Steve Clark at the BPA and ask him to add this complaint to the file he promised to start, regarding the pattern noticed on MSE forum about Smart Parking not issuing any NTK, but going straight to DRP letters.

You will need to explain to Steve Clark how come you are acting as the mentor/family representative for the driver/passenger (do not name them) who have disabilities and whilst one of them can drive (do not say who!) making this sort of complaint would be beyond them.

You may have to get son/DD to email the BPA to confirm you have the right to email on their behalf (again NO saying who was driving, out of the two of them!).

Give Steve a URL link so he can read this thread.

    should read.

When he does, a question from me

"Why can't he tame the DRP idiots who are his members.
DRP makes the BPA look like joint scammers"

as they both have Mental and Physical health problems they found it hard to understand the charges and if they had to pay.

Are they in receipt of PIP/DLA? If so it will add to the strength of the argument if you could give some of the applicable descriptors. Makes it difficult to argue against.

Oh, Jeez, not too many, we're buckling as it is.

Well, not unless they can read simple advice and get on with most of this stuff themselves, using the most comprehensive advice anywhere in this country on private parking charges, provided in the NEWBIES FAQ sticky.

Sort them out first for us. :rotfl:
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
