As I understand, the iPod app is specifically for plugging in an iPod via USB.
I cant get ipod spp to work
Bluetooth is just Bluetooth, the device, or OS, is irrelevant. You haven't said what iPod you are using.
I have Ipod nano and ipod classic
Nope, I don't know. Some manufacturers integrate aerials into the rear heated windscreen element, but I'm not sure if that works for DAB. My car didn't come with one, so I installed my own. You might be able to try out the aerial that came with yours, without actually installing it, with some clever use of sticky tape!
Yeah, no worries dont expect you to know every car. I installed same areil as you I think but airel doesent seem to work anymore.
Good, but it might still be the one I got with a Pioneer unit, that was in previously, I can't remember changing it. Placement is important. Up at the top of the pillar in front of the driver's door, and pointing towards me works best.
I can't quite get my house WiFi in the car, so yes. My unit doesn't take a SIM, but does support certain 3G/4G dongles. I've got 2 of these, but couldn't get them to work. If testing, make sure you get the dongle working on a computer first. '3' do a SIM with 250mb(?) per month for free which would be excellent for this kind of thing.
Ok you gave up in end then , I may do this but if you tried two maybe it's too hard.
Thanks again0 -

No bluetooth there as far as I know, so you're onto using a USB lead, either getting that iPod app to work, or USB storage mode if the iPods will do it (the only way I know how is via the settings in iTunes), or, with the Aux lead.0 -
Hi again guys, just wondered if you have attempted to upgrade to Android 9.0?0

No ... my phone (Huawei P9 Lite) doesn't even have an Android 8 update available never mind Android 9.0

I'd be amazed if there was a build out there for my stereo, officially. I really haven't felt the need to anyway. I do tinker on Android phones and tablets but I just don't feel the need to risk any grief on a car stereo.0 -

Yeah I agree, is running smoothly at the moment just wondered really. I did ask on xda but got no response but know they can be picky. Would love to just connect my ipod to the stereo and leave in glovebox but seems ipods are just too out of date now. thanks for quick response.0
