Have you actually attended a hearing at your local county court, or have you simply received a court claim from the Northampton CCBC?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

in which case thay have not taken it to court yet, as no court near you has been allocated at the moment

its a genuine MCOL from the government office in Northampton

do the AOS online and then start to draft your defence , otherwise you will get a default CCJ in your name

Worried Jim gave you the link to the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, you then need to scroll down the sticky until you reach post #2. Each post has a number in the top r/h corner. This one is #8 on this thread.

Some of the posts in the sticky are quite long, so you'll need to scroll down a fair way.

    Can you see it now?

It's physically impossible. We deal with 70 - 80 cases each day, most wanting the personal handholding you are looking for if they could get it. But there's no more than about half a dozen regular contributors 'on duty', making expert inputs, on any given day.

That's why the NEWBIES FAQ sticky was written, otherwise the forum would simply implode and disappear.

Much of this has to be self-help, with advice provided by regulars to keep you on the right lines.
