Yes, there are different examples
You just need to make a start. Any start. Pull out of the examples anything still relevant.0 -
It is NCP Hillfield Road so the signage is probably clear (I would have to check)
There are some good pics on Google Street View which you can use. It shows NCP signs so there is no doubt it was P&D ....but the issue is not the sign but the wording on the signs. The "penalty" element is so small that a person driving past in the dark (who does not leave the car) would not be aware of the penal element. As such that term (the £100) the defendant maintains is not applicable.
The signs fail to meet the clarity of the ones that the Supreme Court ruled on in the Beavis case. Get a copy of a ParkingEye on to demonstrate the difference. In support of the defendant he can mention the case of Spurling v Bradshaw, otherwise known as Denning's Red Hand rule.
So the main part of the defence will be the clarity of the wording of the key elements of the signs. Which is by far the simplest approach.
