Sorry, not at my brightest today, but at least I knew it was a Taunton postcode. :)

Anyway, what I said was relevant. What's the use of worrying about the TA6 when people aren't even biting?

The thread is about selling the house and the issue with the neighbours which could be made more difficult by the TA6. Maybe try to assist the OP instead of trying (and failing) to look smart

Coincidence, or had your sellers come to some arrangement with the neighbours?

Passage of time mate - babies don't tend to do too much trampolining.

We had a similar neighbour and dog/s

the original family had three gsd's in succession. The first howled all day and all evening when they went out. They were well aware of this. the dog was elderly and eventually dies of old age.

Next came another GSD pup that was left in the garden all day because it destroyed the house. IT was not trained in any way and had to be bodily lifted to take into the house.

It escaped from the garden and bit a child so was PTS.

Next came another gsd pup which was extremely nervous. Again it spent its time in the garden as it was too difficult to walk it.

It also escaped out of the garden and bit a lady visiting a neighbour so was PTS

then mum and dad split up and left two boys in late teens in the house.

Girlfriend moved in with baby and a dog.

yes, dog left in the garden all day, in all weathers , with only a cushion to lie on.

We wrote to the environmental health complaining about the smell from the garden. Waist high weeds and no dog mess ever cleaned up.

We also mentioned that the dog was shut out all day with no shelter.

After a visit from environmental health four friends arrived at the weekend to cut down the weeds and tidy the garden. They filled a skip the skip with black bags of weeds etc.

We were told they would be getting a visit from the dog warden.

Things improved after that, the dog was not shut out all day but eventually the couple split up and the house was sold.

Yes, it could make it more difficult, but it will be much less difficult to sell if a landlord buys, rather than someone looking for a quiet home.

This is why I suggested in my earliest post that the OP consider marketing at a very competitive price, rather than sitting wringing their hands about neighbours who probably won't change.

I tried (and apparently failed) to give the OP a correct reference to the form that was being discussed at the time. OK, mea culpa, I got the number wrong, but thanks to a typo in your first post, you also gave an incorrect reference, which goes nowhere useful on Google; not even Taunton.

    Maybe you haven't noticed.

You need to find a purchaser who does not mind noisy children, dogs and visual untidiness. Would your neighbors have any family or friends who want to move closer to them? Would their presumably aged parents need to move? I would not mind the children, they grow up very quickly and could play with mine, and I walk a lot so would take the dog with me on walks.
You just need to find this special person who does not mind how your neighbors live their lives.

It might be worth a call to the dog warden about the dog, it’s clearly being neglected and they may decide to remove it, if that’s the case.

To me it is quite sad that those who are good neighbours have to pay the price for those who are not neighbourly at all, but oblivious.

Sad but possibly true. House being your castle and all that.

Some people just do not care. But is there any possibility you could outline your concerns to them and give them viewing times or something? With due consideration to your relationship with them.

If a dog has its basic needs of food, water and shelter met, the dog warden will not be able to do as you suggest.

The warden could decide to advise on exercise and alleviating boredom, but given the circumstances, that might have only a marginal effect.

Could you ask your neighbours if you could tidy their garden up before any viewings?

Just be honest with them and say all the stuff in the garden is scaring off buyers even though they are LOVELY neighbours...

I would wait 3 weeks until schools go back in September then do viewings during school days only!!
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

A great idea from the seller's perspective - less so from a buyer's perspective, as school days/in school hours are also work days/in work hours.

A house would have to be pretty special for me to take a day (or even half day) of work to look at - and I doubt the OP's is.
