We did not realise how stressful this was all going to be I feel bad that we have put an offer in and it’s been accepted but I can’t see our application being through in time if I had known how long all this would have taken I would not have put an offer in as we were not told that it would take weeks and weeks or months for a decision to be made ��

we went direct through a broker who has a relationship with them and we got the DIP decision straight away. It was the application/valuation and getting the offer that took the time. We got our offer letter this morning. So from time of application to offer letter it took 7 weeks.

Ours went in on the 27th July, should have an offer tomorrow they needed one more statement which is our joint account for the payments to the mortgage.

Fingers crossed am on holiday until the 11th and just getting nervous, am holding back on the bottles of cava in the hotel room :L :L

Just an update, we've just received our mortgage offer...

6 weeks was the process but it could of been longer if I didn't have all paperwork ready before we went in for the application

What type of things did they ask for and did you go through packager first? I’m just at the start of the process but it’s going through a packager at the moment so hasn’t even gone through to bluestone yet

It went through a package, they will ask for a letter from you explaining why you got into mess with you credit..

They will ask for 3 months bank statements pay slips etc but I gave 6 months so they got a better average, as I am cabin crew my pay is always up and down :rotfl:

Oh your gifted deposit will need to be confirmed of their address and occupation aswell and how they obtained the money.

Ohh make sure you give EVERY bank account in they will find out someway or another. I have 3 and they found my Irish one out :rotfl:

Good luck mate, if you've gone with create finance as a broker make sure you have Nicole she is ace, you wont even feel the stress off the whole process.

Don't get me started on Bluestone mortgages. I had a DIP on 3rd July 2019. I finally heard three weeks ago that they questioned affordability. Then didn't hear anything until 13th September with them saying they wanted proof I wasn't on a zero hours contract and for more bank statements. I'm a lorry driver and don't work the same hours every week. Application was done on basic and overtime. My wages only vary about £20 a week. I'm now waiting yet again. This process is absolutely ridiculous. I'm so done and want to say just forget it, but looking at everyone else Im not the only one struggling with this Company. I'm still no further forward, and wondering about the next stupid question they are going to ask.

Hi Bailey72 has yours gone through a packager too? Bluestone website says they are underwriting in 2 days but I haven’t heard anything for over a week now and apparently the packager hasn’t requested any more documents so not sure what’s really happening. We got our DIP in August and full app went in end August. Was hoping to hear soon but sounds like wishful thinking!

Bailey72 I work for ryanair and half of my wages is taxed and the flight pay isn't due to being outside the country but they didn't quiz it they gave me 100% on everything.
