First few shifts in the new job done and I've really enjoyed it but I'm exhausted!! There also a few people off sick so I can get extra shifts if I need them which will be handy over christmas..

Having a day with the OH tomorrow probably be checking sheep and some other jobs but I love it and I'd not want to be anywhere else :)

Now off to cook tea and revise for my exam next week

Lazy day today, OH had some work to do so I'm at home well his doing some washing as the sun is out (!) and carrying on with revision.

Got some stuff to make lasagne for tea.

I've only used YNAB for a week but wow it opens your eyes! I spend some much money on stuff! I guess it will be much easier once I start getting my wage and I know what is what.

Busy week next week with work and uni then going home next weekend to a family get together.

Hope everyone has a good weekend :)

Well it's been a while.. that exam took over my life.. Majorly fluffed up but got our results tonight and somehow I passed!! Also got my first assignment back and that was an ok grade as well.

Job is going ok feel like I'm learning slowly with only being part time but hopefully it will come with time. First pay day tomorrow so just doing a bit more budgeting. Determined to get sorted out for good this time.

Then work on saturday afternoon then going home to mums for christmas :)

    Well done Welly.
It's hard going back to uni but you are doing really well managing jobs and studying. Remember to breathe.

Does anyone else suffer from job anxiety? I'm 4 weeks into my new job and still feel like I don't know what I'm doing, I'm not supernumerary anymore and we are short staffed so just usually me and another person and I feel like I don't know what I'm doing.

It's harder still doing 15 hours as I feel like I forget stuff between shifts.
I'm also worried how I'll manage when I'm on full time placement and when things get manic again at uni, I want to work and pat off as much debt as I can but I haven't found uni easy at all and I don't want to mess up one coz of the other.

Guess I'm just doubting everything at the moment and feeling pretty useless.. not good qualities for someone who wants to become and OT eh :(

Well I survived my shift and it was fairly manic but we managed.. a girl I have worked with a few times suggested I do some shifts on days she is on and when we are fully staffed so there will be 3 of us and it will be easier to learn things.

I feel like I do want to enjoy it and I think I will it's just learning and getting more experience, plus the money from extra shifts will help alot!

Really not well this morning been ill in the night barely slept had a raging temp and just feel crap. OH is working so I'm doing a bit of uni work and chilling.

I know he's gonna moan when he sees his presents as I've got him a few bits and he's not got me as much but I don't care what he gets me. He's hard to buy for but I think I'm worse haha.

Hope everyone has a nice Sunday..

Hope everyone had a nice christmas, it was fairly quiet for me. Went to my mums christmas eve then came back last night. Got £40 in next vouchers off my OH and £20 off his parents and £25 off my mum so gonna save it all and use it on clothes or something when I've lost some more weight.

Been over my budget with a fine tooth comb and I need to accept that I need to do more hours at work. I need to get rid of this debt as soon as I can.. it's just gonna be a balancing act with uni etc but need to be done.

Hope you all have a nice day :)

Had a lazy day today, have had a period for the first time in ages and got really bad pains and a bad head. They affect me so badly, pill usually keeps them at bay but have one every now and again.

Nothing much to report really just having a quiet few weeks, working nights from tomorrow for 3 nights then a 15 hour shift next Saturday. Car will need a service shortly then an MOT in March so trying to save for that.

I've wondered if I should have taken the bank position at work rather than contracted hours what with placement and uni I'm worried when that is full on that I'll struggle with one or the other. I don't know I just feel like I'm struggling mentally with everything.

Having a hard time with all the uni work we have to do plus working, so much to do but not enough time!!

Got my student loan installment today, looks like I'll have enough to pay my car insurance and have some left over so that will go into the car service and MOT fund as that is due in March.

Not up to much today just trying to get this essay done!

I'm stressed! I've had an assignment to write and exam on wednesday and I'm just starting another assignment which is due in a week on Monday.

I've been at work the last 2 evenings, I'm wondering if I've taken on too much. The job is very very full on and it's exhausting. Already worrying about placement.

I'm not sleeping properly my mind is in overdrive. I just can't handle it all but I can't not work. Half of me has thought of withdrawing from uni but I love what I'm doing and I want to be an OT :(
