If it is too late to put it on the DQ (i.e. already submitted) I believe that you just give the court notice that you cannot attend. There is a time before hearing that you have to look out for. It's in the CPRs, I will try to find it.
ETA. It is CPR 27.9Non-attendance of parties at a final hearing

(1) If a party who does not attend a final hearing–
(a) has given written notice to the court and the other party at least 7 days before the hearing date that he will not attend;0
