Had NSD on Tue and Wed and i am aiming for one today also!
So far i have 40.91 in my quidco account (after £25 was declined from MobileChooser) and should have another £20 to go in soon..
Despite my No Gambling rule i took advantage of one of the offers on Quidco were i got £20 from JackpotJoy for betting £10.. made sure i stuck to it to and after a few hands of black jack with my £10 i walked out with £47 plus the £20 from Quidco.. So £37 off my Virgin Card Paid off...
Really worrying about XMAS... The OH suggested Joint Pressies.. Great i thought will half the cost.. Its just a pity her pressie suggestions all seem to be more than double what i usually spend on People, When i say im skint she just tells me to forget about buyin her pressies then n not to worry.. Shes female so obv shes just sayin that.. if i actually done it she'd go mental.. But i'd rather buy her a proper pressie than spend fortunes on Our Parents and Sisters and the like.. My Parents and Sister etc are usually quite happy with aftershave or a DVD anyway...Lightbuld Moment 1/11/07 Total Debt: To Be Updated

If u have a 'spare' £100 or so, have a looked at the matched betting on the Intro Gambling thread.... its virtually risk free..... I made about £300 before I stopped (it is quite time consuming if u do it properly!)
Definately stick you ur 'no gambling' rules... u could end up loosing lots of money!
Good Luck

Pretty Low spending Weekend!
Football on Saturday.. Another away match but managed to get in using my mates student card so only £6 entry and paid £5 to the bus..
Other than that didn't spend a penny!
The Last of 3 away matches in a row tomorrow night.. pretty expensive ground but im hopeful of getting in for a student/child to save myself a bit of cash!
Pay day on Thu so will be making big payments to all my cards and starting to the dreaded xmas shopping.. but for the first time in years this month i have not only not put anything more onto my credit card but i have actually finished the month with money to spare in my bank account!Lightbuld Moment 1/11/07 Total Debt: To Be Updated

Time for quick update...
Been doing very well with NSD's... I usually don't spend a Penny Mon-Fri... Only money i have been spending is Footie on Saturday (Have kept up my record of managein to get in as a Child or Student so have been halfing the price to get in.. Not exactly right but gotta use my youthful looks for something! :P
Paid extra to my Credit Cards this month and put £100 a way which im hopin im not going to have to dig into before i get paid on 15th.. If i manage that will go straight to my Credit Card too
GOing to Have a re-jig of my Finances.. My Virgin Card are offerin 0% on any new BT so Between Money i had Saved, Money i'd set aside for Xmas and my Mum has lent me money my plan is...
Pay off the Card in Full
BT The same amount back to My Bank Account and then pay back the money into my savings account. and Pay Back my Mum... Then all my cards are 0% for the next yr.. If i get a big chunk paid off in the next yr i'll hopefully be able to shift things about to the one 0% card...
My Boss (who also happens to be my mum) has said the Big Boss has given her a blank cheque in regards to overtime to get backlogs cleared so i dont 6hrs last Sunday and Plan to do Some hours tonight maybe and then another shift this coming Sunday... My aim is to get my Virgin Card below £1000 by New yr.. It's currently at £1,300 only Problem is.. off the next wage i have to get the final part of OH's xmas, My Oh's Bday Pressie and Dad's 50th pressie...will be doing some sums over next week or 2!!Lightbuld Moment 1/11/07 Total Debt: To Be Updated

Further Update... Feelin really good about myself..
Paid of my Virgin Card as planned using Savings, and Money borrowed from my mum.. and today took advantage of Virgins offer of 0% until sep 08 and no BT feee to Transfer it back to my account.... Will put the money back in my isa, pay back my mum and replenish my emergancy savings and xmas funds...
Done really well with my wages this month and have a little left over and bugeted really well.. plus id put £100 aside at the start of the month.. so i'll keep that £100 in my emergancy fund and i'm going to use the other £50 i have to pay off my Supporters bus for the season (£20 off the £70 if i pay before new yr and its the last away game of the year on sat) which will save me money in later months.
Feeelin pretty good about myself... my debts reduced.. I've sorted things out better so all my CC's are 0% for at least the next 10 months...I can manage my budget much better, I've even got a little aside for emergancys and Christmas is just about sorted.... Hopefully i'll be in a better position going into the new yr

No wonder you are feeling 'pretty good about yourself'. You have made all that change since 1st Nov 07 so just over a month and you've made a big difference and are in control of your finances. You are keeping the cost of your football to its lowest and are working extra to pay for it.
You sound proud of yourself and so you should be!! If you have done all that in a month imagine how far you will be this time next year.
Keep it up.0
