Flight after March 2019

Has anyone booked flights after 29the March next year. I have flights booked for February, but am Uncertain whether to book beyond that.
I do t know if there will be any aviation agreement in place in the event of a no deal Brexit.

I don't want to get in to a discussion about Brexit,- just wondering if anyone has given thought to travel beyond march next year. It would be Avios reward flights if that made a difference?

The skies over the UK will not empty because of BREXIT.

Mine are booked for next June to Vegas _ I have to spend £9 and 10 mins filling in a form (ESTA)
That is all that people flying to Europe are likely to have to do - if that.

And the EU is about as useful as a chocolate teapot

OP what do you think/are you expecting to happen
  • Without wanting to turn this thread into about Brexit, it strikes me that as these negotiations or non negotiations (depending on your view point) carry on, I'm just amazed that an organisation that started off as one that was solely set up to promote free trade has managed to spread itself into everyday life to the extent that it has.

As for booking a holiday post March 2019 I can't imagine any airline would be happy for flights to be cancelled just because politicians can't get their act together and I've no doubt that there's a lot of chest puffing going on by both sides at the moment.

Thinking too deeply about the politics. If you want to book a hol or flight just go ahead IMO.

Regardless of Brexit there are other aviation factors that may affect your flights ie. strikes, weather etc but one can not foresee those so far ahead. Brexit wont stop me from booking until informed otherwise.

I think you can quite confidently book a flight for next year.

The airlines are planning to run flights. A solution will be found.

Wizz Air - a Hungarian airline - are launching new routes from the UK to other EU countries and basing more planes here.

If the airlines are confident that they can keep operating, then I think we can be to.

If an agreement isn't reached, the chaos will affect the EU economy as much as ours.

It would not only be a problem for airlines operating flights in and out of the UK - most of whom are foreign - it would also be a problem for airlines flying between Northern Europe and the US and Ireland, which use UK air space.

Reading around on the subject, and looking at other forums, i'm going to hang back till at least October to see what happens. Might not get the exact flight I want, but I'd rather be cautious..

We've booked for April next year returning in October next year.
The flights do not end in Europe but there is a transfer both ways in Germany.
It's your money. Except if it's the governments.
