Thanks nanny, she had a lovely day although I think she was a little hungover from last night! Glad you enjoyed the cycling, I think it has something to do with the lycra!
Sorry your OH is so unwell Csarina, hope he recovers quickly.
After this morning's early sunshine it rained hard all day but now we are back to clear blue skies and beautiful sunshine.0 -

Raining here today, but hopefully it will ease off, although farmers of all kinds are screaming for more!

Evening all,
its good to be home. Ive not had a holiday quite like it i can honestly say.
It was so hot we kept the hounds in the van for most of the time we were there. They had a couple of walks when it was cooler but Ginge started to limp so not only were we afraid of overheating them we were concerned as to what she had done. Blackun (hardy little thing with a cough and gammy eye) had a few walks round the field but Ginge was confined to the site plot. Nearest food shop was an 18 mile round trip and we had to leave the much loved hounds on their own in the van with the air con blasting to keep them cool.
We didnt get to see the sea.... just the damned field. We kept meaning to go when the tide was in so Ginge didnt have to walk far but it was too hot when it was high tide still so we didnt bother.
Last night it hammered down and today we had to load Barbies jeep in it. Well, i say we, Grump was the only one with the waterproof coat so i cleaned whilst he loaded. Crawled back, trees blown over all over the place, the rain made the motorway hazardous so it took us forever to get home. Our usual stop off for food was being refitted so we didnt get to eat till we got home. By that time i had gone beyond hunger (good for the diet though... always a positive in every situation).
Came back to find Prodigal in the shower, the neighbour knocking on the door and Youngest hiding the evidence that his new girlfriend had stayed over all weekend.
Csarina sorry they havent got to the bottom of what was wrong with your hubby. Hopefully they will get to the bottom of whats wrong.
Gers thinking of you and your Mum.
TA Glad the young girl has been found. Such a worry.
