Well all my vouchers sold on eBay last night but i don't think the person who brought the John Lewis vouchers is going to pay as they bid £22 when they are only worth £20 plus they only joined eBay yesterday! Bloody timewasters!
Don't know how long i can wait before i do a second chance offer to someone
Getting my hair cut at 1pm today and have to clean lots as my brother is staying tonight, me and Nick put loads in the loft last night so i can actually see the floor in our spare room now!Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Hello.
The person who won my John Lewis vouchers hasn't paid suprise suprise  gonna file a non paying bidder as soon as i can and sell again ASAP.
I will have £241.24 in my Paypal account once a TCB payment clears , got 8 days to get more in before i need to withdraw it so i have it in time for my braces!
Which means i need to put some more stuff on eBay and maybe do some slice the pie....maybe lolNow a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Not managed any slice the pie yet lol!
Did do 3 lightspeed surveys last night though so claiming £3 in paypal.
Been over the eBay board to get advice on whether i can put a second chance offer in but advise is to wait which is what i was expecting.
I have 9 days until pay day and £23.77 left in the bank and £3.70 in my purse.
I have put 2 £2 coins in my sealed pot today and spent £2.63 today in the Coop on 1 magazine, 1 can of redbull and 2 chicken breasts (reduced to 30p) and 1 pasta salad reduced to 20p.
Now i am going to try and not spend any of the money in the bank for as long as i can hopefully will last until Saturday or Sunday but we will have to get some food in then. Have enough in the freezer and cupboards until then maybe longer if we get inventive and i buy some basics with the £3.70 in my purse.....
Its my Dads birthday next Saturday so need to get him a pressie, i am just able to claim another Juicy Brains voucher for Amazon so that will help get his DVD as i spent the other ones
Looking forward to trying to survive the next 9 days without spending a lot!Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Right have put a flash drive, printer cartridge and some more tesco baby coupons on eBay tonight.
Have also just checked my cashback kings account and £20 has tracked for the Tesco Internet Saver account i opened on Friday
They stopped the deal yesterday so i got in just in time, love earning money without spending a penny, interest rate isn't bad either. Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Hi Lil miss,
You're doing brilliantly with your ebay listings, fingers crossed you will have e enough to pay for your braces.
How's the no spending going? i find it really hard to not spend money, a magazine here, a bottle of diet coke there, it all adds up unfortunately.
Thanks for adding me on facebook btw x0 -
I haven't spent any money today but my Dad has brought me some bread, milk, ham and cat biscuits and 2 cans of red bull from tesco and lidl. I tried to pay but he wouldn't let me.... it annoys me though as he doesn't work *off long term sick* so he doesn't earn a lot but i know he worries i will starve!
Which i wont!
I have had a manic day at work and i should be doing all the lightspeed surveys i have but i think i am just gonna watch tv! If anything good is on!Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Awww, thats lovely of your dad to worry. Bless him. Your his daughter, he will always worry, even when your married with children he'll still worry about his baby girl.
Well done on the no spend day!!!!

Thanks Hayley.
I have been feeling really frustrated today, i am so sick of living in this house and being in debt and just being held back by money
I have been really broody for the last 6 months or so, all my friends are settling down, the world and his dog all seem to be pregnant too but Nick doesn't want a baby until we have our own place (and i agree) but even if we buy a house end of 2009 that means still no baby until 2010 and i really want one
I am so desperate to get this debt out of the way so i can save, save and save some more for our own house.
I need this broodiness to subside but a guy at my work has just had his 2nd son and so there were baby clothes in the office we brought as a gift and i just melt when i see them, i blame it on being a cancerian, i have big maternal instincts.
Reading wellars posts has made me think how life is so short too
Right rant over! Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
I know, reading Wellars posts has made me see how short life is, its so so sad.
I'd love a baby too, but thats a no go until we have our own house and i have the career i want, so another 4 odd years. Since my sister had my niece its made me soo broody, but like my OH keeps saying, we should wait until we are finacially stable, and have our dream home. Then we can think about bringing a baby into the world, and have no money worries whilst i will be off work.
Its going to be hard, but think about what you will have once you have saved for your own home. You will be able to enjoy your little baby without having to worry about money.

Yes it will be great to have our own house, am just having an impatient day
I am not really career orientated, i like my job but if i had a child i would maybe do something else, my company are a bit cr&p and don't seem to understand you have a life outside them :rolleyes:Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0
