Still only 2 though think i am nearly at enough accuracy for 3 *fingers crossed*.

I did £3 yesterday, £1.10 day before and had 90p left over from my last withdrawal.

Not sure i can handle £5 in a whole day, going to try and do a couple of quid today and same tomorrow and make a withdrawal Monday.

Went to tesco today and did a baby shop and got 950 points, by the time i actually have a baby i will be well sorted for nappies and wipes at this rate :rotfl:

Done no slice the pie today as not in the mood but have put my Playstation 2 for sale on ebay and.......

Have transferred my £860 savings out and paid off £860 on credit card :T

Was gutting to see the account with nothing in it but i am over that now and my 0% is nearly up and i can't get another one as i will just spend on it so best thing i could do.

So now have £620 on it and got about 6 weeks to clear as much as possible so need to put some things on ebay and more slice the pie.

Doesn't look like loan is going to be paid off early now but last payment is October, will try and get it done a couple of months early if i can :)

Am a bit mopey today so please excuse me.

I am off work today, woke up feeling rough and i think the stress of the last 2 weeks has got to me plus i have been worrying a lot about money, what with the news of someone i know having terminal cancer then the news my brother and SIL are having another baby plus 2 weeks of work that have been hell its been a bit of a rollercoaster and i feel really down right now.

I don't feel happy about paying off that debt, instead i am upset there is now no money in my savings which i feel stupid for.

I have got so many things coming up that need money, a wedding and hen night in less than 5 weeks then my holiday and then another wedding (which consists of a weekend "stag" do but girls are going) and i just feel like everything is too much right now, i am fed up of renting, i want my own house and of course i need to find money for the orthodontist too plus keep feeling really broody which is playing havoc with me.

On doing the tesco baby shop for points yesterday i was wishing the nappies and wipes that are now in my cupboard could be put to use instead of just shoved away.

As you can tell i am feeling pretty low and can't even afford to go out and see my friends to cheer myself up. :o

awwww!:grouphug: have a dodgey hug on me!

Sorry to hear about your friend.

I know just how your feeling about the money and wanting your own place etc. Its all the goes through my mind every hour of every day!:o
It great news about paying a big lump off on your card.:T Dont feel down about it.
What do you need to spend money on for the weddings? It is clothes or gifts or both? You can get some lovely dresses/tops on ebay for under £30 suitable for weddings. check out the Jane Norman clothes on ebay. And for gifts have you got any vouchers due or saved away?

    Is your holiday all inclusive?

Do you talk to your OH about you feeling broody?

Couldnt you just have your mates over you place for a chat to cheer you up? It would be free!:D

He knows i want a baby and hes cool with it, i haven't spoken to him about whether he wants a house before we try but he is getting bored of living here too, just worried if i had a baby then it would be a lot harder to get a mortgage and save for a deposit. But with the current markets we could be waiting years to get a house!

I am currently on the contraceptive injection so even if i come off it would be at least a year before i would get pregnant anyway and i do want to get my teeth sorted before baby comes along so can have my picture taken proudly.

Hopefully the broodyness will go away in a few weeks, i get like this then it fades, think my SIL being pregnant has set it off this time.

RE Wedding Gifts my friend with the wedding in May has a John Lewis wedding list and i already have 1 £10 voucher and should be able to get another off pigsback by the time it comes, though thinking i will have to just give her vouchers as all pressies prob be off list by then, need to find something to wear, am sure i can get something nice enough for both weddings (luckily completely different friends at both!) and got until August to get other friend pressie although he wants money for his house which i feel uncomfortable giving as worried will think i am cheap....

Most of my friends don't drive (like me!) or work stupid hours so hard to meet up round here plus i like to escape rather than them come here.

The holiday is all inclusive but guessing will still need £100 just incase and if we go off site etc.

  • Hey hun,

Sorry to hear you're feeling so down - sounds like you have lots to look forward to though in the coming months...

Re the wipes and nappies you can never be too prepared. I was only saying to the OH that we needed to buy some Baby shampoo yesterday. That's the first bottle since DD was born over 13 months ago!!! Things like that really help.

Sounds like your doing great re Slicethepie - I keep meaning to sign up but trying to concentrate on Pigsback and getting my work colleagues to sign up re me lol!!

    Anyway, take care

Been a bit of a busy work so haven't had time to post as much.

After saying how down i was Monday OH came home with sunflowers for me.....but Wednesday was his birthday and we ended up having a blazing row and aren't really talking at moment, well we are but not properly....

Spent way too much money this week too as had a night out with the girls from work that cost £25 and now i have 86p left in the bank until payday in 6 days

Got about £9 in wallet and food in cupboards but means no fun for me this week!

Was hoping to get a £10 boots voucher from pigsback today as really need shampoo etc, will have to scrape it out the bottles this week!

Done 2 pinecone surveys this week so thats another £8 but think i will get it in vouchers again as they haven't switched me to paypal yet, i can use them in tescos and stuff though so thats ok. Got my first little book really quickly.

Also done £14 worth of its your view surveys so now at £31 with them, need another £19 before i get my cheque though.

Just still really panicking about finding that £400 for the orthodontist..... got £47.50 in paypal and got a few more lightspeed surveys to do to boost that but still need to find the rest and soon! :o

    Evening :)

I am still in a bit of slump and can't seem to get my mind off things like being broody, wanting to buy a house, being sick of being in debt and also the newest thing is deciding whether i should start learning to drive again after debts cleared.

I have mentioned it before but i failed my driving test 3 times in 2006 and a lot of the reason i am in debt is due to paying for lessons on my credit card

All my confidence has gone due to failing (and badly each time, nerves got the better of me and i just freaked every test) but my OH really thinks i should try again and i do wish i could drive but i am scared to start again as really think i will never pass :o

Just feel that even when i am out of debt i will still be totally skint from other things!

    Anyway!

Pay day tomorrow and i have sold a bunch of stuff on ebay this week and made nearly £70 before postage. Paypal account currently has £140 in it with 2 more items to be paid so all that extra money is going to pay off credit card, got £625 on it to clear by 28th May when 0% runs out.

Should be able to afford £200 from wages to pay towards it at least and am going to post my Nintendo DS on eBay tonight too so should get £70/80 for that with games. Am really going to try and clear it all before 28th May then i will only have the loan to pay :)

Got the £8 from pinecone in vouchers today so thats £12 i have from them to spend which will be spent in Iceland along with my other £10 lovetoshop voucher and that will fill freezer for a few weeks!

Got the £10 boots voucher from pigsback so will spend that this weekend.

    Big spends for May are:

    Spencers Jabs
Hen Night & Wedding (Outfit needed for wedding and drinks/travel for hen do!)
    Brothers Birthday

Could do without them all!

Failing 3 times is nothing! I didnt pass till my 2nd time on my test. It took my mate from work 18 times at doing the theory and 11 times doing her test! She didnt give up and got there in the end. It did cost her ALOT though. I too was very nervous on the test to the point where my feet were shaking on the pedals! I think everyone who takes there test is the same.

Great news on your ebay selling! Your doing really well getting together extra money.

Could you and your OH move back with your/his parents until you clear off your debt? And get a bit of money behind you. Since living away from home you probably wouldnt want to go back to living with folks but it could help you fiancially.
