Hello, i am still alive he he!
Its OH's payday tomorrow and he is due to give me £740 in total for bills, holiday payment and money he owes me.
I owe my Dad £300, although technically don't owe him, my nan lent me the money once for my loan as it goes out of my other current account and my Dad gets all paranoid it won't be paid in in time so he paid the money in, i paid him back that month but he kept it and each month he pays it in for me and i pay him back lol.
Hope that makes sense.
I also need to give him another £110 for our council tax as he goes into town to pay it for me as i never get the chance and he doesn't work as been off sick for 2.5years with ME so has the time to spare.
So thats £410 gone already, got £175 to pay on bills for rest of month, thats for sky, pet insurance x 2, Gas and Electric, Water,O2 and BT bill.
So that leaves £155 and i have £97.30 left in bank giving me a grand total of £252.30 left until 25th April.
I have a Tesco food shop coming Tuesday but thats already paid up for as i loaded my Clubcard Plus with £60 last week so thats accounted for. Only ordered about £40 worth too though might adjust that later. Didn't really want to do an online order but have 350 extra points that can only be obtained online as i stupidly had online vouchers in my settings on my main account.Changed that now though!
Anyway now thats all written down i just need to figure out how much i can put on my credit card or into savings with my left over amount, i have a night out with work on 17th April so need to keep £20 for that and got OH a birthday pressie to get but as i said before have some vouchers for that but apart from that i am going to stay in and not spend any.
Thinking maybe leave £50 spending money for me (but try and only spend on the night out!), £50 for food, £60 in savings and £60 on credit card then have £30 left over to get OH birthday pressie plus use the £20 vouchers.
Am just about able to claim a voucher from Pigsback too so will probably get a boots voucher for toiletries this month.
I have joined the April make £10 a day challenge but am aiming to just do £5 per day as have never managed to hit the target when tried it before, need to do lots of Slice The Pie, Daily Clicks and Surveys. I managed to sign up for Pinecone surveys last week and they pay £4 per survey so that should help!
God this is so long :rotfl:Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Bless you dad! What a sweetie! My dad would never do anything like that for me!
I too was thinking about joining the £10 a day challenge again this month. But think i could only do about £3 a day!:o
Sounds like youve got all your outgoings planned and organised:DMake £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -
I am not being a very good DFW this week.....:o
Put another £386 on my credit card to get me and OH 2 reading festival tickets
So my debt is up again..... i am a bad bad girl.... but i saw the line up and couldn't resist plus its becoming a yearly ritual thing for us....
Anyway enough dwelling on the bad!
Because i have spent a lot of money on my card since Sept i have an MBNA rewards card so just managed to order a £20 high street shopping voucher so that will help a bit for rest of the month.
At the moment i have £192 left over after all bills and food accounted for, just got to try and not spend it, as have been so naughty with the credit card i want to try and put £125 of that money onto that.
Signed up OH to sun bingo and betfair via quidco this week and will get £30 profit from them, betfair was paying £50 on a £10 bet last night but i was too late, its dropped today to £30, thought about doing it before i went out but it said the offer was on until tomorrow, still a profit though and bet the £10 on slim pickings winning the national, if he does i get £120 profit and you can use paypal to fund the account so i used £10 slice the pie earnings for itHoping he wins!!!
Going shopping with best mate today, have to resist!
On the weight loss front lost 1 3/4lb this week :T So am dropping some lbs! :rotfl:Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Oh dear! Holiday and festival tickets!
Im not a festival lover, the v festival in my hometown chelmsford. It drives me mad!As it on the weekend when my birthday is and town gets full of weirdo's from the V. And the traffic that weekend is awful and then coz i work in a hotel that is right next to where the festival takes place we get all the workers that set the festival up stay at the hotel for 3 weeks every year and the rooms are a complete mess! Rant over!:rotfl:
Even though its right near me i just watch it on the tv! less crowded, clean toilet with no queue and no mud!:rotfl:
Good luck on the grand national!I was going to place a bet but havent yet. I cant watch it.....dont like the horses falling.
Sorry for the moaning! lolMake £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -
I won't watch it, i don't like it either but liked the £20 profit even if i lose!
Yeah i do feel sorry for the people of reading each year, they have 1 supermarket near the festival and its waitrose and its always full of young people ransacking it with some old people wandering around, if i lived there i would stay in or go somewhere else that weekend!
I am thinking i might actually have to buy some clothes soon, they are starting to hang off me and not making me look great, my black skinny jeans i am wearing are hanging over my shoes as losing there resting place ha ha! OH looked at me this morning and said wow so i must look slimmerNow a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Right i am going to spend today earning some money i think as its all snowy.
Am currently doing some slice the pie and am going to have a hunt round the house for items to put on ebay too.
I really can't decide whether to sell my Nintendo Wii and my DS.
I never play them but just can't bring myself to do it.
I know i would get a few hundred for selling them and games though.... argh the decisions!
I have loads of tesco baby club coupons too but i can't really afford to go out and buy nappies that won't be used for years lol! Thanks to the lovely people at paidtoshop i can get about 600 points for a £1ish pound spend but i get nervous on the self scan tills and worry they will start beeping and i will get caught using the glitches!
Oh and talking of nappies i found out last night my brother is expecting a 2nd child so i am going to be an auntie again at the end of October _party__party__party_Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Im doing the same as you today! Theres nothing to do in this weather!
Congratulations to your brother!:T Soon you will be broody too like me when the new baby arrives! Seems everyone around at at the moment is having babies! It making me sooooo broody.
I cant believe you have a Wii and dont play it! Yesterday was the first time i played the Wii before and loved it! Bowling and boxing are my fav's, but my arm is aching this morning!:rotfl:
If the coupons are tesco ones they wont beep, its only when your using money off ones they beep when you put more than one in. Tesco's own coupons are fine. Well i havent had any problems with them anyway, and ive put in about 6 on one shop with 2 items!;)Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35!
