Elite Management (Midlands) LTD and ZZPS

Hi all - bit of a newbie here so please bear with me. I understand that there's a newbie thread for things like this but I cannot find it, so if anyone could link me it would be much appreciated.
So, to put it briefly, I parked in Coventry on 09/06/18 - where my friends and I park all the time without any issues - and 11 days later I receive a PCN through the post from Elite Management (Midlands) LTD requesting £60. Last time I went, there were no signs except for "Do not park in bays 2 and 3" because they are private. Naturally, they say they have photographic evidence (not provided, of course) that I was parked on private land without their permission.
I looked this up and saw that it is just an invoice, a scam essentially, to try and get money out of you. I decided to ignore it, which my friends said I should do as well.
On 19/07/18 I have now received a letter from ZZPS - another unofficial looking document where their signature is "Customer Services" and now demanding £170, with £70 being admin fees - quite laughable. I did get quite disgruntled at first, but after some more research I realised they're just grunts for hire to try and scare you into paying, and they get a commission chunk if they're successful.
I have a few questions that I was wondering whether you guys could help me with:
-- How many of these letters will I receive until they clear off? I read that I'm probably going to hear off some solicitors who like to get in on scams who aren't particularly official
-- How often do these matters go to court? Apparently because Elite Management are part of BPA, they can quite easily send me a letter to go to court - but apparently only 5% go that far
I think I just need a little reassurance with the fact that I continue ignoring these scam artists. Please let me know your thoughts!

Who knows how many letters the idiots at ZZPS send out.
Who cares, it's only ZZPS wasting their time because
they are 100% POWERLESS
When they do give up, it's passed back to the PPC who then
decides if they want to take it further, if they do then
come back here.
Treat ZZPS as junk mail, their letters have no importance
to anyone, let alone themselves

No need, my signature tell you where to click.Hi all - bit of a newbie here so please bear with me. I understand that there's a newbie thread for things like this but I cannot find it, so if anyone could link me it would be much appreciated.
How do people not see the threads stuck at the top of the forum? Is it due to being on a phone?
When you clicked 'NEW THREAD' you must have been on the first page with all the parking fine threads showing, with the sticky threads at the top...so how do posters miss read them first?
Genuinely interested to know how people manage to start a thread without reading any.
The NEWBIES thread post #2 has a link to the stats, hosted by the BMPA on the PADI website. How often do these matters go to court? Apparently because Elite Management are part of BPA, they can quite easily send me a letter to go to court - but apparently only 5% go that farPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I've been surfing the web for a while for advice and came across a few threads on this website in my endeavours, but seem to have missed yours, unfortunately - after I posted this I did find it though, and it was really helpful, so thank you for that. I did initially look this up on my phone so I'm unsure whether it's different when you're viewing it via desktop
Definitely feeling a lot at ease now!0 -
Just a quick update on this thread - I have since been in contact with the Police about this PCN and they have stated that I should contact Elite Management directly, and not go through ZZPS. Strangely, their website doesn't directly state an email or telephone number where you can contact them, which is suspicious in its own right.
Furthermore, I have sufficient evidence to prove that I was not parked at "Service area No.3 City Arcade Coventry CV1 3HX" at said time and date "09/06/2018 18:45". I have a telematics fitted into my vehicle; I rang up my insurance company and they have given me confirmation and official documentation stating that I was driving at the time I was "parked" in said car park.
If Elite Management, ZZPS and so on and so forth wish to continue with their endeavours, then so be it - I will gratefully go to court and supply them with evidence proving my innocence.
Thanks all for your help with this thus far.0 -

Perks of having a telematics, eh? It would be funny if they kept wasting their time and money trying to harass you when this will just be thrown out in court0 -
Never ever phone a private parking company or debt collectors.Strangely, their website doesn't directly state an email or telephone number where you can contact them, which is suspicious in its own right.

Telematics will over rule a scam claim.
I think Elite read this forum ...... so better they understand
this now than getting a whooping in court and having to
pay costs.
The ZZPS bunch can continue to waste their time, who cares
it's their money they waste0 -
Hi all, just a quick update.
Last week I received further letters, this time from QDR Solicitors, claiming that they will advise the claimant (Elite Management) to obtain a CCJ if I don't pay up in 14 days. I have read up on this stating that it is blatant scare mongering and that I can report this to Trading Standards, but my question is this (as I have seen various different answers):
Do I continue to ignore this until I receive a CCJ, or do I reply now?
Thanks in advance.0 -

You are confused .. a CCJ is a County Court Judgment and that
can only happen if you have been to court, lost, ignored
the court of paying with 28 days.
If Elite want to take you to court then you must receive
a LBA (Letter before action)
They must prove their claim against you and give you 30 days
to respond.
The QDR letter is another debt collectors letter under
a different name
QDR run by the very shameful Wright Hassall solicitors
are just trying to scare you so ignore
If you get a LBA then come back here0 -
I'm literally going through the exact same situation the last communication I have had is from QDR and I have no clue what to do!
What happened with yours in the end? I cant risk getting a CCJ0
