I do realise that - just given how out of my depth I am, it's easy to opt just to pay and forget about it.

I'm guessing re-enforcing the mobile / app issues and a lack of a grace period after parking there for 12 hours, combined with the usual POPLA letters around inadequate signage, no idea who the driver was, no time stamped photos etc - then I could get a case going

I am saying that I read your original post and apart from incorrect wording I realised that 2 periods of 10 minutes grace (one before and one after the parking event) covered the 20 minutes stated overstay

13.2 and 13.4 (before and after) - YOU are ignoring the one before parking

however, you have changed your story and so the extra 9 minutes (of 29 minutes)would have to be justified by queuing to park, queuing to leave , trying to pay by phone etc

the longer the 2 grace periods are, the harder to justify

but my original comments were based on YOUR original comments, hardly my fault if your facts were incorrect , but 20 minutes overstay is covered by both of those 2 clauses - 10 minutes to park, 10 minutes to leave = 20 minutes in total

I completely get that it was my mistake to not mention the 9 minutes - not pointing the finger at yourself
