Woohoo! Such exciting news about moving in with OH. Very smart way to go about it too. It was a good idea to have a sit down and see how everything would work out finance wise/ see if it was possible. Well done for not just rushing into it blindly (been there, done that
)! Very happy for you!
Glad you're feeling positive and chilled! I find cleaning/ organising does that to me. Sometimes I really can't face up to it... But other days it's so cathartic. Especially getting rid of old clothes/ junk.a lot of shoes where I only had one of the pair! Shocking!
This happens to me all the time and I have no idea how! Went to wear a pair of ankle boots I've not worn since last winter and I only have one?! Genuinely have no idea where it could be as all my shoes are on a shelf by the door. I blame the dog
Don't worry too much about the debt creeping up - what's important is you've recognised it and taken steps in the right direction re: getting rid of cards/ giving them to OH. Just focus on your plan and you will get there.
Also fab news on being able to run soon! I'll keep my fingers crossed for youTotal Debt : ?? / ??0 -

I am gladI haven't done much the last day or so with it but cracking on again tonight

More decluttering powered through tonight!
I tackled 3 small drawers, one huge drawer, and a couple of surfaces :rotfl: slowly reclaiming my space!
So far I have found:
- a £10 love2shop voucher in a work birthday card from several years ago that I had assumed lost (unfortunately expired)
- £3 in old £ coins that I will change to new ones next week
- mini toiletries to work through so I can get rid of them (just in time as I ran out of toothpaste this morning and forgot :rotfl: )
- my birth certificate and change of name deed poll
- the 3rd Joe Wicks book I knew I had somewhere. This will be donated to OH along with the first two
So it has been productive! That is all of the big drawers done in my room, now just the cupboard of doom and the storage box next to my bed to work through, and that's the bulk of it done. I have one more shelf to clear but that will take seconds, I just need to fill out a charity bag with some clothes or softer items before putting some of the more delicate things in it
All in all, a satisfying evening
Now off for a bath to get through some of the new found mini toiletries :rotfl:0 -
It's nearly Friday!
Been paid for a user test today and did a small cashout from PA, being set to one side as I have a physio appointment I forgot to budget for, but at least I will have the spare money!
Just checked my driving app (I have a black box) and all looked good then it refreshed and change all the numbers, my driving score dropped to the lowest it's ever been, and my speeding score has gone down to zero!!! Meaning I have been speeding loads!!! All the journeys I have done this week have been the 5 minute journey to work and back and I most certainly haven't sped on those, I sit in traffic mostly! If it doesn't go back to normal in the next few days I will be phoning them to query it and get it rectified.
Quiet weekend planned so will mostly be decluttering some more, and keeping my eye on money making websites
Happy Friday0 -
Lazy weekend this weekend, no decluttering was done although I did take my two bags to the charity shop. No money made either other than a 20p survey on PA but I did pass the typing tests for small audio transcribing clips, so we shall see what comes of that. It could be good and worth my time, it could be naff, I won't know if I won't try!
A few evenings with OH coming up, we are going to a running store after work so I can try out a pair of trainers that should support my foot better for training in, my parents have offered to purchase them for Christmas as it will be something I will make good use of. I just need to make sure what size I will need and that I actually find them comfortable.
Third physio appointment on Wednesday this week, hoping he says we can try some running soon as it has been 90% pain free up until yesterday and it's still no worse than normal so feeling very positive.
10 days until payday and all I need to pay for is my work lunches which are budgeted for, and my physio which I will have the money for. I'm looking forward to next month which will be the first month in a while where I won't have used a CC once! If I can't afford it now, I simply won't have it, and that actually brings a sense of relief in a weird way.
Hope everyone enjoys the last hour or so of their weekends!0 -

Glad to hear it about the cc! I had started using mine again and could feel myself getting back into my old habits  Once you've gone a whole month with no spending it on it I'm sure it will feel great!
Hope the trainers are good/ supportiveTotal Debt : ?? / ??0 -
I like the challenge of trying to find ways to make the extra money if I want something now :rotfl:
I went and tried on the trainers I thought I needed online, as soon as I put them on I could feel the difference with how much more supportive they were and how much nicer they felt. I suggested to my parents they just contribute as even with a 15% running club discount they are £102  but they have still offered to cover it all which I am extremely grateful for, and will be sending me the money later so I can buy them. I will probably drive over on my way to OH's tomorrow and get them as the shop is pretty much en route.
I'm sat here typing and just remembered I told myself I was going to start wearing my glasses properly again today - they're meant for reading and computer work - so I must go and grab them at some point to stop my eyes feeling to tired and dry.
Should get paid for the last 2 User Tests I've done today, so another £15 made from last week0 -

Now you know what you want have you looked online? You can often get the exact same trainer model in last season's colours at a much reduced price.26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

I have shopped around for them and can't seem to find the same trainer model in older versions or colours, I'm sure I'd end up buying a different shoe altogether by mistake  I will speak to my physio guy tomorrow about it though as he did try and explain about going back 2 models to find cheaper ones, which I've tried but sizes available is often an issue
I need motion control running trainers so I've looked up various models and all the cheaper ones I can't seem to find in my size, so just feeling grateful that my parents are investing in this first pair but I will keep a keener eye out online going forwards when it comes to getting a new pair.
On the plus side, as well as the 15% club discount I found an on-card discount for the shop with TCB too, so slowly getting cheaper0
