Morning All,
Valuation Day. This will be the third one. It is booked for midday to give me time to get to DM house. I have to put it up in the next week really to get the ball moving. The care home fees have gone up now I have access to paying DM, and they are expensive.
Visit to DM on Tuesday was better than last week. DM memory is progressing though. It is just sad how dementia changes a persons personality.
Best get moving . Enjoy your day in this lovely weather. When I sit outside I pretend I am by the beach and I can feel the lovely sea breeze. Instead of being in my back garden and in a large city.
Enjoy your day xI am a Senior Ambassador on the Competitions Time Board and the Old Style MoneySaving Board.

Morning everyone and thanks for the start Holly, thank you as well for saying about my DSIL. She is still refusing visitors and is very low, spoke to my DN about it and the consultant is aware & monitoring.
It’s really warm here already and meant to peak around 34/35 this afternoon:eek: will obviously have to wait and see about visiting but I do have my DB coming round for tea so would need to be back for that.
Off to do a food shop soon, another fan of W8rose here, their essential range is good value but quality stuff. We don’t have much of a choice in our local town, it’s either that or Tosspots but I always find their F&V just doesn’t last. We are meant to be having an Aldee open next year so will be after recommendations of what’s good to buy,
Hugs to all poorlies or those with worries and cares, take care folks x0 -
Good morning all,
Lovely morning here in Glasgow.
Last night was nice and warm too and I had a productive evening. Visited my gran who wanted to give me my birthday card so I could open this morning before work. Then home to get changed and out to my mums to do an hour in the garden. Back home to get changed again for football. Back home again, showered and eventually ate my dinner at 10.30pm. Phew!
After work today, my mum, gran and step-dad are going to a favourite Chinese of ours and then back to my mums to watch the football and have some cake and a coffee. Really looking forward to it.
Tru - Have you smoke alarms? Sounds like an eventful evening.
Nannywindow- Hold of on the hat for now. I'll give you the nod when things get serious.
RR - Thanks for the info on the pool and Waitrose. Very useful.0 -
Morning All
The sun is shining and I'm here still in my dressing gown! I've been pottering about doing little fiddly jobs, the biggest being shelling peas, there are so many coming from the allotment I can't keep up!
Hugs to you Gers, hope your DM has a better day today.
Sorry to hear you will be losing your lovely lady dumpling, well done with the healthy eating.
Remember to take your sleeping bag to the car Nelski!
Yesterday's swim was fun but I didn't enjoy being in a saltwater pool, left me feeling a bit bleurgh for the rest of the day, though not bad enough that I couldn't enjoy a gin with my neighbour last night!
Meeting friends for lunch today then probably more fence painting, I've decided to do the rest of the fence around the garden but as it's darker it's going to take some time plus I can't do the bits where the sweet peas are until they have all died off, it's going to look terrible for a while.
Have a good day, take care. XX0 -

Morning ((((((((((hugs)))))))))) if you need one.
Late posting this morning. I was at Aldi by 8.20, dropped scripts off at the Drs, picked up OH and went to get our hair cuts. From there back to the Drs. for her to look at OH's leg, he scrapped it on a post in the garden, she has given him antib's to take. He has an appointment at the dentist at 3.20 this pm so another visit into town. I am planning on parking at Sainsbury. I have not been able to get cornflour for a few weeks, Morrison did not have ant last week, so will try Sainsbury.
Gers - sorry to hear your Mum is still not well, maybe the blood tests will show something.
Dumpling - Sorry you are going to loose your cmt lady, I know she has helped you a lot.
Specky happy birthday, save me a piece of cake!! ooopppsss no I am on a diet, no cake or biscuits and only 2 slices of bread a day amoungst other things.
Frittata for supper...... no dessert for me unless I can be a***d to make a jelly.0
