I opened my TorFX account and called them Saturday. I couldn't trade at that time as the markets were closed. Now the £ has sunk 1.5c and their rate is less than 1.50 again!
Just spoke to a lady there. A slow week is their forecast. Not too many figures to rock the boat0 -

we got the BOE Inflation Report later this week - that has the potential to send a few shock waves through the markets...

Cable is currently trading a quarter-cent above today"s late European morning intra-day low of 1.5081, as it consolidates losses from 1.5280 (today"s early Asian session four-month peak, pre-Tokyo open). 1.5192 was today"s Asian session base.
1.5130 (recovery rally high from 1.5081) and 1.5150/60 are resistance levels. A 1.5150 option strike rolls off at today"s 10am Eastern NY cut. 1.5160 was today"s early Europe low (1.5224 was the ensuing recovery high).
April"s BRC retail sales balance and the RICS house price balance will be disclosed at midnight tonight (BST). The RICS balance is forecast to improve to minus 71.0, from minus 73.1 in March. It was minus 78.1 in February. I don't understand the rates here as I was in the Post Office today and they were only offering $1.46 to the £. Are these just trading figures you are posting here or what you can actually obtain as curreny for going away with, and where would you get these rates?0

They are trading rates and only give you an indication of the top rate available.0
