I have to say once you use the elecy trolley it's easy to see why they are popular, i have a motocaddy S1 but use it normally only on medal days and the odd Sunday game and carry my bag for midweek bounce games.0

I have an electric trolley. bought a cheapish one off ebay. does 36 holes on 1 charge.
i'm surprised it was possible to golf when you were a lad... with all them horses pulling the ploughs and rollers around.. i'm presuming it was before the age of the motor engine0 -

i am indeed - although these days its more like twice a year, instead of the good old days of twice a week (pre wife and kids !!)
been lucky enoufgh to play some nice courses over the years though (corporate entertainment)

don't get me started on the bacon. you're correct that it's all sh1te.
was in NZ with an american colleague. he was very disturbed by the bacon there. it was the same as we get here.
his comment was "this isn't bacon, this is ham!"
