  • 16:36 06Mar09 Cable hits fresh session lows in late Europe

16:33 GMT - [CABLE] has dropped to fresh session lows in late European trade,
below 1.4130 (previous low), under 1.4100 stops to hit 1.4076 so far.
The move is said to be largely a correction following today's "relief
rally" in ccy/Usd pairs, post-NFPs. Nonetheless, gains have run out of
steam, and more stock market losses are starting to filter back into the
market. The ML's irregular trade story along with more S&P downgrades
have been leading the losses. Wells Fargo has added insult to injury,
noting that "job losses will happen", in relation to the Wachovia
integration. Headline losses are being contained just above the first
fair support at 1.4061, whilst further pullbacks will find better support
    at the 1.4037 level.
