Cable has rocketed up to 1.4340, purely on the back of this info.
It is mounting a serious attack on this important level, and if it breaks through and stays there, we could be heading for the 1.4475 level

there are more important US figures due at 1.30pm today
to do with Employment costs and GDP
so it may sit steady until then around the 1.4280 to 1.4300 level

Updates are great, i've been watching the currency for a while now firstly becasue i go to the states every year but im intrigued as to how it all works now.

IM will the Honda announcement on cease of manufacturing for 4 months have any bearing on the market?

not really - well it certainly doesn't appear to have had any effect

poor car sales is more a worldwide problem, plus the markets kind of knew about this already, and would have had it all factored in

that news really was no surprise to the markets

i havent posted in this thread before how is the future looking for the dollar?
I am going to vegas in may, I went to new york last march and the dollar was 1.96 to the £ can you please tell me if i am hoping for to much for it to be a similar figure this time round or am i best bying now??

sorry, but you will get nowhere near that level now

around 1.40 is best on the high street at mom

in my opinion, (for what its worth) if you hang on, the nearer you get to May, you will probably get somewhere nearer to 1.55-1.60 level

of course, it could go lower than 1.40......
