We're off to South America in July, is it worth buying some dollars now in case they fall again?

Or would you be better of waiting is case they go up?

Is that some technical term? Surely the dollar would have to go up to get to the moon?

Actually, I have heard that the pound is so weak the Americans have bought loads of £5 notes and are going to use them to fuel the next shuttle launch!

  • How do Crown and TMS work... where do they get their money from? I've secured £1600 worth of $ at $1.56 to the pound for delivery on 6th June ... but I am getting the jitters.

How safe are they, does anybody know? A woman at Crown said they were trading well, but she would say that wouldn't she even if they weren't (like Empire Direct taking our order on 15th Jan and going into administration 4 days later)....

    Thanks
  • well we've crashed through the 1.4250 level.... currently at 1.4265

next support level is 1.4360 if its going to push on higher....

we just poked briefly through the 1.4360 level, but it couldn't hold there

back to 1.4340, and revving up for another go at it....

there is no protection whatsoever if they go under - therefore you will lose your money.

they have traded for years though and have many happy customers. however even though i used them just before Christmas for some dollars i would be reluctant to use them again solely on how worried i got when they had my money. the gains to me were not worth the worry
