Can't advise who to sell to though, I always spend my currency. I think some people may even sell it on e-bay as you may get a better rate that way, but it always struck me as a dodgy way to sell cash.
Hi Blink
Thanks for your advice - I'm not too sure about ebay to sell cash either. I Think I will try the internet to see who buy currency.0 -

Wow. 1.3652 at 5.13pmSave saynoto0870.com in your favorites, and stop giving companies more £££ dialling 0870 numbers when you can dial freephones or cheaper alternatives
call your credit card company, tell them that you want to leave, 99% of the time theyll lower your APR%
Remember when that Bank Manager or Salesperson smiles at you, all he sees is £ notes. Dont forget the motto, "the wider their grin, the more debt your in"0 -

Going to america in april thinking of getting my dollars with "crown currency exchange" can anyone reccomend this company,is it safe, will i get my dollars when they say,is it goverend by anyone.0

I have used Crown, and also Travel Money Services who are connected to them. Got my dollars fine both times.
Not sure if anyone can vouch for their future. I'm supposing they know what they're doing when setting the rates and they won't be out of pocket...but I also suppose they aren't doing as much business just now.0 -

Does that mean there might be some sort of "intervention" to help support the pound? Can the G7 do that?0 -
I can't get my head around the Maths of this, so maybe someone can help...
Mrs Blink is Italian, so she could get her family to convert Euro to Dollar. The rate is about $1.30/€.
Doing £>€ and then €>$ seems to give me a rate of about 1.378, compared with about 1.376 when doing £>$, suggesting that there isn't much difference. Have I got that right? (We are only looking at changing about £1000 tops0 -

God knows!
Just the fact that they have deemed it important enough to discuss saw it rally upto 1.40 overnight, but didn't last long though as we are now back down to 1.37 again !:rolleyes:Please take the time to have a look around my Daughter's website www.daisypalmertrust.co.uk
