Is there room for me aswell? :)
  • Tough one, but think about the little one, would she want to be with her Mum at Christmas, if so I think your going to have to find a way to make it work for her benefit.
Easier said than done I know, especially if she will ruin a trip that you have all been looking forward to! Now I'm changing my mind and thinking you should tell her to get lost!
Oh dear I'm no help! Basically the chidlren are the priority, do what ever is in their best interests!

Ohhh, I hadn't realised you were staying at his Mum's house, I thought you meant you were all going to stay in a hotel - that DOES make it a bit trickier.

yeah come along :D in fact seeing as it's a free for all, why don't you all join us :rotfl:

Hubby is as horrified as I am, but I think we're going to have to play it cool. If she thinks it's causing an issue she'll win. I'll just have to save as much as I can between now and then so if she does turn up I can sod off to a hotel.

Don't get me started on the woman and money, she swears we should pay monthly money for the little girl, and we do buy her loads of clothes and shoes etc we also give her £20 a week. But, I refuse to pay any more because she had £50,000 in cash from their savings (all hubby's money from his days with a sucessful band in Canada) and £120,000 from the sale of the house, hubby didn't get a penny. We agreed this would be a clean break settlement and any more we would pay because we wanted to (so we pay for swimming lessons etc) She chooses to live in a 5 bedroomed house (just her and the daughter) and is up to her eyes in debt. Not my bloody problem

    I'm ranting now :)

She sounds like a complete cow Toto - being happy is the best revenge you can possibly get, so I'm coming round to the 'play it cool and be nice' idea!
