Fingers crossed for you! Even a couple of thousand would make a world of difference!

Thank you! I've got no idea how much it could be, but I'll take what I can get :)
  • To seek assistance on Barclaycard debt, you can approach Barclaycard directly for :

    1. Minimum payment reduction through collections team (affects your credit file once on a payment plan)

    2. Interest reduction through Superserver team (doesnt affect credit file) but your account should have an offer. This team will check for an offer if your account is not closed or suspended.

    Thanks

Thanks for your suggestion. I'm not too concerned about the Barclaycard to be honest as it's currently 0% and we're meeting the minimum payments. I have contacted M&S though to request an interest reduction as it's them we are waiting for a decision from regarding the s75 claim. I should have a response within 48 hours.

Hi! Just read your diary. Wow, you have done so well with sales! Have you got much else you can sell? You seem to have such a tight handle on spends. Well done for 2 hair cuts for £22. I once went to our local college and got a lovely hair cut for £7. It took longer than usual but I was really pleased. One of the nicest haircuts I have ever had. Unfortunately I cannot do it now because I work full time term time only.
Well done. Looks like you are doing really well.

Thanks Pidge. Yes I still have loads to declutter and sell. I don't know how we have so much as we are supposed to have decluttered when we moved in December. We sorted DDs room yesterday so have a bin bag full of random stuff from her room alone.

Haircuts are tomorrow so fingers crossed it doesn't look like a 'cheap' haircut. We could have got them both done for £15 if I just paid for a dry cut, but my hair is so unruly, I have to have some cut wet and some cut dry :rotfl:

Wow, Shrek the musical was amazing! Definitely money well spent.

Received £6 M&S vouchers in the post from my cc. Will store them in my purse until theres something we need. Last time I saved them up until I had enough to go clothes shopping for DC3. I couldn't usually afford M&S clothes for him.

Our bath tap/shower mixer broke yesterday. It's only 2 months old but bought from ebay so out of the money back guarantee period. I've emailed the seller though to see if they will replace. Otherwise, I might still be able to start a PayPal claim. I certainly don't want to be spending another £70 on a replacement so soon.

I just realised that when I calculated my DFD as being 53 months away I didn't take into account the s75 claim for the car. I won't recalculate it until we get a final answer from the cc company, but that could knock nearly 12 months off!

Hello again! Have you joined bargain groups on Facebook? There's bargain buys for busy mums and extreme couponing and bargains UK group. Just search for them - they're brilliant for pointing out when sales are going to start, when there are great discount codes or offers. There's a Frankie and Bennys app where you get buy one get one and free desserts and all sorts and on the group people show their receipts and how they did it. I don't work for them or have any investments or anything just thought it would help out with your night out with hubby. I love them and hate them. They're brilliant when serious bargains go on but lots of the posters live up north and get everything so much cheaper. Their yellow sticker bargains are unreal.
Really hope the PPI comes off for you and with the loan I would put what you owe. It's not a front loaded loan and you're not clearing it now.
    Keep going xxx
    Loan 1 £5200/£8000
    Loan 2 £300/£5800
    Total £5500/£13800

Thanks for the suggestions, they're always welcome :)

I've joined 2 of the FB bargain groups. I got loads of bargain Christmas presents through them last year and a few squirrelled away already for this year. We ordered a bargain hot tub a few months ago but it was sadly refunded as it was a pricing glitch on the website :(

We live in a small town so it's mainly small independent restaurants we have here and it's rare to get any vouchers for them. We could travel if there was a particularly good deal somewhere though. I'll keep an eye out.

I'm trying to put the PPI claim to the back of my mind and not get my hopes up, then if we get anything at all it will be a nice boost.
