Hi Mnkut, Good luck for tomorrow. Me and ZakLondon attended the Shoreditch county court today and both cases were dismissed by the Judge. The PCM lawyers did not even turn up. The Judge was quite unhappy as she had 3-4 cases of this site today.
Of course..... it was the incompetent Gladstones Solicitors ?
Why do PCM use them ?0 -

No need to guess it was Gladstones, Beamer. All claims have an 8 digit Case number. Position 3 and 4 identify the solicitors - so GF would identify the case as [another] Gladstones FailureThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. PCM had 8 cases today at Clerkenwell and Shoreditch County Court. They may not all be Heath Parade cases, but if they didn't show for any of these, there might be some pretty peed off Judges around.
Thank you so much :j
Feeling far less nervous now. Will post my claim number tomorrow and full synopsis0 -

That's so good to hear can't tell you how happy that's made me! Was it Judge Bell by any chance? Did you get awarded costs?
I'm going to PM you now.0 -

E9GF4C3X Parking Control Management (UK) vs Kalantar
- Dismissed by the Judge for illegible signage
- Claimant didn't turn up
- Costs were not awarded sadly
I've not got much to share by way to learnings as the case was heard in 2 minutes flat (the hearing was delayed for an hour and I believe our original judge wasn't in).
We went in and I was able to speak for my family member. I provided the LayRep ROA to the clerk who was quite dismissive of me being able to speak, but when we got in the judge didn't mind at all!
The Judge started with well I've reviewed both witness statements and the signs look fine to me, to which I requested to speak, I stated the signs aren't visible within the car at eye level, or when you exit the car, only when you go all the way to the wall and look 3m from the pavement and as a twenty something year old that doesn't wear glasses I even struggle to read a few words let alone the whole thing.
Judge said "great you've convinced me, case dismissed."
I requested costs to be awarded but the judge stated that's not normal for such a serious small claim (?!) I didn't quite understand that, but stated the defendant simply is seeking costs for loss of leave and travel. But he said not from me I simply couldn't do that.
Thank you so much to everyone on here. If it wasn't for this forum, I'm certain today wouldn't have been a success.
I'd really like to help anybody who has a hearing re Heath Parade so please PM meAnd feel free to use the Claim Number in your cases.

And well done on your win. I am surprised any Judge initially thought PCM's hidden/pale signs were 'fine' but equally it seems he was easily steered the other way!
Another one bites the dust!
