Any chance of adding back in the parts you've taken off and which are in the first part of the post. It can then be recycled for any claims where Excel/VCS use their "data" for missing VRMs where the OP has paid.
Done.

Perfect!
And I am sure we can think of other recipients who should read about what Excel were held by a court Judge, to have done (altering evidence!).
Very well done again, Lamilad. :TPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

A lesson for everyone, it's incredibly difficult to appeal on fairly decided facts. Get it right first time.
I do hope their alterations are punished properly.0 -
I do hope their alterations are punished properly. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Ms A appealed stating that she had entered her full VRM (to get the free parking) but the terminals were prone to malfunction and members regularly received PCNs despite entering their VRM.
I'll bet they wish that they allowed the appeal in the first place. This sort of case not only costs them time and money, but gets the ear of other judges, especially if the press gets hold of it.You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
Have been looking for examples of Excel's machine failures for my own case. It would seem that this is not an isolated case at this particular car park. There are quite a number of people who have had multiple tickets and each time Excel are saying that the registration has not been input. There cannot be that many people getting it wrong.

I agree, and we simply don't know how people have this problem.
Either the machines don't work, or they do not register the full VRN ..... bearing in mind that the industry is full of fraudsters and ex clampers, it is possible that the machines are being tampered with
Remember the time when crooks would use a gadget to block money from a ATM ?? they came along later and took the money
What is of concern is that people are putting in real money in the pay machines and getting £100 charges due to the parking companies claiming no ticket was purchased.
WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THAT MONEY ???
It's just needs a good newspaper to investigate this and pass it over to Action Fraud0 -
Every time someone is ticketed for this they should raise the matter with Trading Standards. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0
