Evening all
Sorry I'm back but I need to have a moan.
Dad has been and gone and he's at deaths door again ( hope that doesn't bite me in the rear ). He didn't want to phone me because he was too ill and I couldn't do anything. No, he knows I will tell him to get the doctor or make another appointment. He has said now he can't even get to the kitchen to make a cup of tea. Well 1. he doesn't drink tea 2. he's about 6 small steps from the kettle 3. he has to pass the kettle to get to the back door, walk through the conservatory, up the garden path to his garage to get his car out to see his friend at Morries for Sat lunch and then drive over here today for his lunch .
I had the gall to suggest he pays for carers to come 4 times a day to make his food / drinks. It's like :wall::wall:.
Coupled with him in "a woe is me" mood, Mr Fix It had gone down hill this afternoon. Unfortunately there is nothing that can be done for him, just keep taking his medication, but bless him he never moans and just gets on with it :A.
Anyway sorry for being a moaning minnie. There is half a bottle of wine in my fridge and boy has it got my name on it ! Failing that lifting my mood or drowning my sorrows, there is always the joining the circus option or running away to sea ! Thanks TA for putting the circus thought in my mind
Hope to see you all tomorrow, probably with a hangover :rotfl:.
Thanks nan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently0 -
I knew Grump shouldn't have had that sleep. It's gone 11pm and he's using a new toy to replace patches of grouting in the bathroom. A right racket he's making...or was.
No thought for others.
