Motorola G6 play arrived today. I like the phone but will be returning it back since it does not have magnetometer, without it compass does not work.

Sorry this new phone is more than £150. But some of you might be interested in Xiaomi POCO F1.

Things happen in the Western Smartphone market have became really weird; Crackable tacky Glass Back = heavier = smaller battery = more expensive price

Especially in the UK, Apple=Samsung duopoly system is really boring. The former won’t offer proper repair services; the latter won’t offer proper software support. Essential phone does not have an essential head phone jack with all glass construction…. Nokia won’t let you install opensource Android OS to extend the life. Oneplus just copies what Apple/Samsung is doing, increasing the price further…

If you would agree, check out what is going on in India, the most exciting development in the smartphone world now. Xiaomi just released a brand new phone “POCO F1” in India I hope this will bring the new trend with common sense. No More Silly Tacky Glass back etc.

    • Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 (Same as the flagship phone such as Samsung Galaxy S9)
    • No glass back
    • Large 4000mAh battery
    • Headphone jack
    • Opensource Custom Rom Friendly to extend the mobile phone life much much longer
    • Affordable Price (Less than £250 with 6GB 64GB model )
  • Smells like spam to me.

OP why didn't you check the specs before you bought the phone?
With budget phones there will always be something missing.

The official Xiaomi Store don't use DHL service, so I deleted to avoid the further confusion. Sorry.

The official Xiaomi online store offers a standard free delivery to the UK. One UK buyer said pay nothing, another buyer said £14.83 ($19.57) including post office handle charge for Redimi Note 5, according to the user feedback reviews.
Xiaomi don't have an official AliExpress store, they are all resellers. There are company authorized stores, just not Xiaomi.

Thank you for letting know. As other stores sell a Chinese hardware, but this shop sells Global hardware. I think that this shop is OK.I have found some "Official Store" like ASUS, HTC, I thought some brands have official stores.

Have you checked POCO F1? I am hoping Xiaomi will enter to the UK market soon...

You have got a little brother (sister?) of Mi A2. Xiaomi is so clever to cut the cost without sacrificing the performance, Mi A2 Lite uses Snapdragon 625, instead of the latest Snapdragon 660. Probably you don't see any difference a lot between them for daily use. How much do you pay for Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite ? Please post your review once you have receive it.
