Ironing cleared, more washing in and sorted waiting to go in, I am just about back up to date including all the bedding I brought home.
I need to clean, house is not so untidy (compared to how it has been in the past) but boy it is filthy! Thick dust and loads of cat fur everywhere, can't remember when I last vacuumed properly and washed the floors, yes I can, floors washed weekend of Royal wedding as all furniture was moved about so did it before furniture was put back. I just CBA! If anyone has any spare GUAG.
OK, going to go and do something, should I start in the best or worst place? I can't half procrastinate!0 -

Jojo, Greek or Russian next?
I think we're up to about Omicron now.
Boss definitely seemed happier today, though. Which meant I could make a point of sitting downstairs in front of the fan for half an hour until the midday sun went off the massive full height windows in the room where I spent the day working.
Got a rejection letter from the other place this afternoon. I'd love to know how they've managed to find so many people with the very specific experience they asked for that I don't even make the shortlist.
Oh well, I shall just have to keep looking. Whilst waiting for the inevitable redundancy letter to appear at some point in the next nine months.
In fairness, the coming changes at work will probably reduce my (physical) workload immensely - and it's not as if I can't pick up any other jobs there as people inevitably leave - but I just don't want to be there anymore.
Got home to find Himself has been busy cleaning floors and doing things in the kitchen as it's been a bit cooler today. I haven't actually gone into the kitchen to see the countertops, but I'm quite happy deluding myself that he's done them as well.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
OH dropped at the pub.
Dinner don e before he went
I have the evening to myself, telly is off, I'm going to water my pots.
Washed all my wall plates today and rehung them, boy where they dusty.
Watched some tennis.
Jojo, sorry you got rejected, but keep looking, you never know what may be around the corner.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

JoJo sorry about the job, hope something else comes along.
LW coping vibes.
Well pretty much the only flying yesterday was done by the RAF as we went up to see the flypast, had lunch then visited the Royal Mews.
Today:
went to Body Attack
blitzed bedroom, yes I'm juggling rooms around from the list
watered plants
filled bird feeders
potted up some pepper plants.
Done various bits of admin
Put away contents of a couple of washing baskets.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Morning
Wm is on
Kitchen is swept, sides are cleared down.
To do
Post office to post 2 parcels!
Sort out a timetable for OH significant birthday, as we need to take photos for him / of him and the 'family' 'think' wedding style so the list will, go OH plus DD, OH plus DS, OH plus each grand child in turn, then various family set ups, so I am making a list of what and when, then giving it to SIL as he has the loudest voice to get 20+ people in the right order.
Weed the garden.
Back later, have a good dayBreast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

We have rain! Not too much, but it's cooled things right down!
Sorry to hear about the job Jojo. Keep looking, maybe something else will come up x
LW - big hugs and wet dog snogs from my lot to you. Hang in there xxx
Ooh Narc0 - you were lucky to see the flypast. The Red Arrows went over our house a few weeks back and the boys were so excited
They're now in the bath, so I'd better get a move on myself!0 -
Flying advice please !!!55357;!!!56842;
I've moved into a much bigger house !!!55356;!!!57313; So I'm having to adapt my weekly and daily lists.
Question is those with bigger houses how do you split it down? For example I have 4 bathrooms now. Do you do all on the same day or spread out and do with bedrooms?
I've got 6 bedrooms and a utility and a double garage so any advice how to split this down?
I'm doing my normal SSs and hitting hot spots but just wondering how to best break down into zones. Feel like all I'm doing is cleaning lol xx0 -

Sorry to hear about the job that wasn't advertised with you in mind, Jojo. Something will come up in due course.
Welcome maninblack32. You clean a garage??????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:eek::eek: IMHO that's a job for whoever cleans the car
Personally, I would do each bathroom/ensuite/loo with the adjoining bedroom/hallway, then you've got a sparkling area rather than single room that hardly anybody sees.
I wasn't intending to do it, but this morning I have emptied, defrosted, cleaned and sorted both freezers, to make space for a delivery from the Land of Snow tomorrow - it would have been rude to have ignored the £5 off they gave meThankfully, my bank balance can just about cope with their minimum amount to qualify (I only spent 69p over the minimum :rotfl:), and with all the added free extras on SW ready meals and a bag of frozen rice I have covered all DH's main meals for the long weekend at the end of August when I shall be away at a conference. Result :money:
I have also S&S'd the kitchen, having hoovered and steam mopped the floor yesterday, and updated the toddler group accounts.
Plan for the rest of the day:
- have my shower
- clean the bathroom
- prepare a story and craft activity for the toddlers
- cook a fry-up for early lunch
- run the toddler group
- take Rosie for a walk
- collapse for an hour
- cook tea
- start typing up the first section of my essay
Having weighed in at SW on Tuesday for the first time since the beginning of June, I have updated my signature. I need to lose half a stone by the middle of September, which should be doable if I am careful. Valli, could you please update the Slinky Wannabes list (also I think you'll find my name accidentally appears twice) - thank you.
Will catch up later. Hope everyone has a good and slightly cooler day xx0
