So close now, I’m so pleased for you, you’ve really worked so hard for this. Less than 100 days will fly by (and there will be some friendly peer pressure to make the final payment)
(Also makes a note to post more exciting content to represent DF life)

Almost there and then an extra £1400 a month from April. No way could you fail to be proud of that. Hi everyone
I really am useless at updating my thread, sorry about that everyone. We went to the wedding, it was great, I had a really good time, and came in only £12 over budget. Not too bad. Nothing else has happened, January has been a very slow (and cheap) month. Just how I like it.
I figured out that the council tax holiday money had been included in debt repayment figures, so I just paid it off the debt. I didn't know what else to do with it, thought about putting it in the car fund and taking my gift cash back, but really, at this stage, none of that matters much. It wouldn't make a big difference to me to have the cash back, but seeing the debt go down by £1,577 has given me a big boost. I've skipped the £3ks altogether and the debt is now in the £2ks. I honestly can't believe it, looking at the figures. The MBNA card is gone. :T:T:T It's amazing!
So here's how it looks this month. Only 2 more months to go (60 days roughly?)

Thanks BlackCoffee, it is exciting! Not long now! It's been really helpful reading your diary to try and get an idea of what debt free life is like. I expect I'll be a bit disorientated, but in a good way. :-)Emergency fund £8,500/£8,500
