Using Clarity card for ATM withdrawals in Spain

My wife is currently in Valencia and is having problems getting cash out of an atm. Her question to me is which of these 3 options does she select.
Does she select a Savings Account, a Current Account or a Deposit Account.
So far she has been told incorrect pin twice but we are pretty sure that is correct.
Many thanks.

It shouldn't make any difference. Be careful to choose an ATM that doesn't charge....and check the PIN again. Maybe she has got it wrong.
Which ATM has she tried?0 -
I would suggest confirming that the PIN is correct first. Either make a purchase using chip & PIN or use the ATM for a balance enquiry or something else other than a cash withdrawal (if available).
I usually find there's a "Credit Card" option on the list if the ATM asks which type of account. Maybe try an ATM from another bank to see if it makes a difference? I'm not even sure it matters, to be honest - British banks don't generally seem to offer the facility to use one card with multiple accounts.Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
On a rotating plate, with spikes like Flash Gordon

Many thanks for your reply.
I can't remember the name of the bank but we used it in Benalm!dena a couple of months ago but with my card not hers. It worked fine and we weren't charged.
I'm beginning to think that the pin is incorrect as her card got locked when withdrawing cash at that time but we thought it was because we kept cancelling the transaction because they were imposing a charge.
Thankfully she also has my Monzo card with her as backup and I definitely know the pin for that!0 -
Just one thing to remember with Monzo you have £200 free allowance per month, 3% charge for foreign withdrawals thereafter

I've told her that €220 is her lot! Otherwise use the card in shops and restaurants wherever possible.0
