You don't need money for happiness, but the comfort sure would help. All I need to be happy is my health and my OH. I'd be willing to live/work anywhere virtually with those 2 things.:heartpuls

Funnily enough it turns out that all of the people whos 'lifestyles' I was jealous of have financed them with crippling levels of debt. Now my friend's nice car makes me sad.
Health, love, chocolate and (in my case) the odd glass of wine. We all want the same thing when it comes to it, don't we?
(Well, noone said chocolate, but I bet you agree:p)
Oh, and after this past weekend I guess we'd best add MSE to the list.
MissKJ, you are depressingly not the first person to have said that about me!!!0 -

I love my life and where I live too, it's not about having what you want but wanting what you've got (as the song says).
I am sure many posters on this board can testify that things don't make you happy.0 -
Yup, I live in Coventry and it's not all that bad really! I'm a country girl priced out of her own turf. I want some chickens but OH won't let me, and if I'm honest I know it's a pipe dream. This is the best me and OH have ever had it, and it's fine. I know it sounds mad for someone with depression but I'm really quite a happy person.

I love my life too, sometimes crap gets chucked in my path, well quite often really, that's why I learned to wear wellies!
What I have discovered though is that nothing is out of our reach. We just need to learn to adapt to our situation and devote every part of our dedication to reach the goal. It's pointless being envious, what a waste of emotion. Far better to channel that into realising the destination is the journey. I can hand on heart say I don't look at other people and wish I had what they have. I do look at them and feel inspired by what they have achieved though, and that's good enough for me.:A
