How long are you holding?
Do they give a 'quiet time' suggestion on the automated message like HMRC?0 -
Over an hour each time0

The waiting times on the phone are very often long, especially since the numbers changed. Keep trying, is all you can do.0

What is it you need to ask them/talk about? Is it something that can be done by letter?0

Just want to ask why my son has been refused esa0

8am is the best time to call. However, I have read elsewhere that ESA have been having problems with their phonelines over the last few days, so that might be contributing to the long wait. I can't ring at 8am, as I am getting my son ready for college. It tends to be mid afternoon that I can ring, and I'm usually on hold for around 50 minutes. I make a coffee first, and ensure that I have a puzzle book that I can abandon as soon as someone answers.0

This decision really doesn't seem to fit in with the assessor's report that you received.
