I know it doesn't', thats what I want to find out. There is no points sheet or descriptors on it. Theres's just headings numbered 1 to 39 with a couple of sentences underneath each one.0

Presumably though the beginning of the letter says that he has been found fit for work/doesn't have limited capability for work/similar words.
To be absolutely honest, you can try trying to get through but I suspect that they will just say' you have the right to appeal this decision'. How to do this should be written in the decision letter. Mandatory Reconsideration first and it must be within one month of the decision.
If you really wish to speak to them then the call centre staff would have no idea how to respond to your question other than' you have the right to appeal'.
It seems that the assessors report was overturned by a decision maker. If you want some answers on the telephone then you may have to insist that a decision maker calls you back - giving someone the chance to look through the file.
Don't waste too much time telephoning though because of the time limit for the Mandatory Reconsideration.
Did you send evidence with the ESA50?0 -
There is only 1 sheet but it says page 1 of 4. This happened 3 years ago when he first applied, got a letter saying he wasn't entitled, then had another letter saying he was in the support group and then a had a phone call from job centre saying he was in work related activity group and had to come to appointment.0

It's very difficult to help you when you're not answering any of the questions people are asking you.
Have you had a decision yet?0 -

Oh Lord what a mess - such incompetence.
In that case you might stand a better chance with a call centre bod as they should be able to access the decision letter on your son's file.
To be honest I would be hot footing it down to the CAB and ask them to call and find out exactly what is going on. (Not that they will get through any quicker) Take all your paperwork with you.
At the very least I would be making a strong complaint about this incompetence. Did you do so last time?0 -
I'm going to ring citizens advice tomorrow. I have just checked his bank account and he did get paid yesterday the usual amount that he was getting every two weeks0

I think I will ring the citizens advice tomorrow. I have just checked his bank account and he was paid yesterday the same amount that he has been getting every two weeks. I will have one more go of phoning them today and then I will speak to my local citizens advice tomorrow0

I thought I would try one more time this morning giving them a ring and after only 35 mins of being on hold I finally got through and spoke to a lovely man who said my son has been placed in the support group for two years and a letter was sent out yesterday and I should receive it next week. He apologized for the letter I received yesterday and said they have been having a loot of technical problems lately.0
