Just used WFDC for the second time in 3 years for an MOT. Excellent.
Also as a garden waste customer it is only £30 until the end of June

It might have been if I had known it existed

Booked in at a time I chose, and all done in 50 minutes while I did a quick shop. They do not do repairs so no incentive to be anything but straight.
Ed yes pleased it passed, its only 5 years old and less than 50K on the clock so barely run in I hope

Unless you don't trust your garage (in which case why are you using them), I can't see the the MOT station not being able to fix an MOT fail as being anything other than very inconvenient.
Much better to find a good indy garage and build a relationship with them IMO.
Some lights were out on my last MOT and I didn't have time to fix them before going in. They replaced them for £12, less than Halfords would have charged, and handed me a pass certificate for another year.0 -

some councils charge for garden waste collection, separately to the other waste collection.0 -

Relationships need maintenance costs, and even if you become cosy with the mechanics they may use somebody else to do the mot tests if the mechanics are busy and usually .....When you look into an abyss, the abyss also looks into you. Nietzsche
Please note that at no point during this work was the kettle ever put out of commission and no chavs were harmed during the making of this post.0
