Current Account without Security Token/Keypad

Hi,
Looking for a list of banks which DON'T require the use of a security token/keypad to carry out transactions. Fed up of not being able to carry out tranasactions away from home if I have forgot the keypad at home.
Currently have the B account (Clydesdale/Yorkshire) and this is the first time I have had an account that requires it.
Want to go back to an account where its not a requirement. Any suggestions? I know that Halifax, TSB and Lloyds don't use one but wanted to know if the same applies to any others.
Thanks in advance.

Ask bank for a second keypad and keep it in your travel bag?The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0 -
Tesco don't need one. First Direct also.0

Starling which is app only0

FD and RBS only need 2FA (with tokens or gizmos) for transactions such as adding a new payee. On my phone I can pay known payees and do lots of regular stuff with just my fingerprint for login.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Credit Cards, Savings & investments, and Budgeting & Bank Accounts boards. Security token thing keeps you safe. If you have a smartphone you can use the app in some banks (eg Barcays) to generate tokens. Also, most banks that use one only require it to do stuff like eg add new payees - once you have added one you can make payments to it without the token.
As for banks without a token, I would second the Starling suggestion.0 -
i can use both normal login and token card reader to login into nationwide.0

Santander use no such device - Just a OTP sent to the mobile number they have for you0

Can't you just use the Android / iPhone app to generate the code?
Those little devices are being discontinued. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
You can use phone banking when you forget the device.
For info: Santander use a digital key like FD, HSBC & M&S's for commercial business accounts.0
