Is it worth ignoring and waiting to see if it ends up in court and the tickets may be honoured, because if i accept there offer, all is lost???

By the time it got to court, if it ever does, your flights will have long since departed. BA appear to have made the decision to cancel all but departures within 3 weeks of booking when they would have had to pay compensation under EU261 anyway and I think they have decided to make a stand because of the sheer number and use of social media to spread the news. They want to make it clear that if people follow the herd, BA will simply cancel the bookings, I am not suggesting that is the right decision but it looks as though that is their intention
