Memorandum of sale. It'll have the buyer's name and address, and their solicitor's name and address on it.0

So they're giving an extra month (to two, depending on when in May) on top of that?
You aren't ready, then.
It's not your new house - yet. You haven't even exchanged contracts, let alone completed.
Adrian, I dont understand why people like you are on this site. You offer no support just pessimistic judgement. Honestly, people like you are the reason people dont talk to others about their problems.0 -

Yes they are, mortgage offer seen and confirmed too. I will do that tomorrow thank you.0 -

On a new build you exchange as normal but you don’t complete for a few months afterwards so they’ll have plenty of time. Thank you though0 -

What's the problem with that advice from Adrian? I see you haven't thanked it but it seems pretty helpful to me.0 -

The fact is that you have not yet exchanged contracts for one reason only - you are not ready. If you were ready, you could exchange today. Until you exchange, you have nothing more than a "Well, yes, let's see if we can do a deal" from the developer. They are giving you an extra month beyond your original deadline - and yet you are still worried that you cannot exchange. Why not? What are these "details"? How long do you think they should wait for you to sort your "details" out?
Remember, if you cannot buy it, somebody else will likely be waiting to. If this falls through, then perhaps you will be that "first-reserve" on your next purchase, and will be frustrated at the developer's unwillingness to move on from an intransigent would-be buyer...
But, if you prefer, <hug>.0 -
I'm sorry if you didn't actually want a dispassionate pointer to the facts surrounding your problem.

Im absolutely not asking for that, if you read my initial post I was looking for people who actually have experience of my process with Miller Homes. I know my position, I know myself personally has been sat waiting for over a month. I am trying to see if there is any Avenue I can persue to try and keep my dream house. Your comments are welcomed but I dont need anyone to point out my situation which I am fully aware of. Please dont forget I obviously have feelings and emotions invested into this process as well as a lot of stress. Maybe that thought process wouldnt go amiss before making comments that can offend.0
