Really?
While there are a few on autotrader for that kinda money (dealers therefore more than private), I very much doubt any actually sell for that.
Search completed listings on ebay for 2004 Vectras and most are under £500, regardless of mileage.

Would suggest you deal with this in the manner of your user name and follow the advice of the majority of posters, buy secondhand bumper, get it fitted as cheaply as poss and don't bother with respray!

As for going through insurance??? The increased premiums/excess would be more than the above!!
