Surely the whole point is that great if you want to donate (and can afford to) go ahead and if you don't want to or can't, don't, the original post was only a suggestion and an idea and we all have a choice or not if we are seriously in debt.

I think the site is great, it has really helped me and often a Thank You goes a long way,

so THANK YOU Martin and the Team for providing the site that gives so many people help and mutual support

Well I guess we would all like donations to our fund... my mate came round last nite and told me to buy some lottery tickets cos it was double rollover, rang her this morning to say thanks for helping me waste a fiver!

I think the best thing we can do is perhaps make sure our computers are all updates and secure, and aren't used for such nastyness.

It isn't hard to keep it virus free and up to date. If you aren't sure, im sure the techie board will help, and I think if everyone did this there would be a lot less zombie pcs around to throw multi gigabits at unwitting servers.
