    :D Brilliant!

Errr, I read something that Wepa, the leading supplier of TP and kitchen rolls, have noted a 7% increase in TP sales into the UK recently.

    Guilty as charged, m'lud.:rotfl:

Sometimes only a terrible pun will do and this feels like one of those times. The loo roll stories feel pretty surreal too, is there a hits-the-fan joke in there somewhere?

Very pleased with my approvedfood order today, esp the £4 Italian box which has a really nice selection of stuff. Also recommend ikea Istad storage bags, you get 25 each medium and large, very sturdy with double seals at the top. Have saved lots of space bagging up painkillers, teabags etc and stomping all those cardboard boxes flat is brexcellent therapy!

:D Brexellant! What a fabulous word, I want to steal it immediately and cherish it.

Am paying very limited attention to the meeja on this matter. Whole situation best summed up with a vulgar Americanism which starts with cluster and ends in an expletive and shall not be printed here.

I have noted the sayings and doings of my parish's Parliamentary Muppet and confess myself Unimpressed. Should they or their canvassers darken my door, this displeasure will be voiced.

Prior to its election, I met someone socially who claimed to have worked at the same place as the Muppet. Their opinion? Total (expletive) idiot. How very right they were.......:rotfl:

  • Grey Queen a term used successfully in Scottish parliament avoids the swearing but gives a good image = 'clusterbourach' .
Bourach a Gaelic word for messy heap

I think no matter what shortages we do or don't have to endure over the next few weeks or months, compared to the situation in Mozambique right now, we've got nothing to worry about, at least, not in terms of losing our homes, starvation or disease. So yes, we'll be OK, I'm sure of it. :)
In the world-wide scheme of things, we will absolutely be okay, yes.

First World problems - unheard voices and all that, that's what's going on, I think.

I've been thinking about us as preppers when I see some of the news footage of Mozambique :( what could you possibly do except evacuate when floods that big are ongoing? Beira's a big, big port, it's as if my home city of Liverpool was completely flooded :(

I can only agree with every word :( and I'm claiming-for-use not only Brexcellent, but also Parliamentary Muppet and tartanrose's clusterbourach, those are good.

Yes that does illustrate how prepping can only cover certain eventualities. In the case of a huge flood like that, it's unlikely one's carefully stored goods would be of much use, in fact they could be washed away!

    Hi guys
I think compared to other countries what we may face is a bit of an inconvenience.
On the up side the muppets in parliament may then actually get on to something useful like education, health and crime.

I just want it all to be over, one way or another, I don't care which any longer I just would like to turn on the TV or pick up the newspaper and watch or read news of some other kind. I have become saturated with Brexit and all things Brexit related , totally disillusion with the people who are in politics on all sides and on all heads. I want life back to normal!

Exactly. I'm so sick of hearing about it.

I'm sad that trust in our democratic system and our politicians has been reduced to an all time low and right now, as somebody who has always exercised my democratic right to vote, I have no idea who I would vote for if a General Election were called.

I feel the same. I wouldn't vote Tory as they are obviously incompetent, but I wouldn't vote to make Jezzer PM either.:(
I can barely watch the news now.

I try to avoid it too.
