Judi , my ex mil put the Christmas turkey on top of her car as she set off for Blackpool, she lives in Bristol.
I've been to get the hearing aid sorted out, left here at 7 and only just got back. The Oracle car park and the roads around it have been closed as a suspicious package was found.

Woohoo, DiL got the job. It's with a firm that regularly features in the top 10 for employers so hopefully she won't have the problems she's had with her present boss and his wandering hands. The only solution his boss could give her was to leave, so she is.
Nelski, good to see you back, take care.0 -
Oh Snoozer thank goodness she's out of there!
Nelski I'm glad you're back safe.
I had a migraine Saturday evening - one of the bad ones I have to take stuff from the doctors for and I'm still a bit hazy so please excuse the lack of mentions.
Take care all of you0 -
Welcome back NELSKI don't try to do too much too soon. Baby steps and all that!
Well done to your DIL SNOOZER. With all the publicity groping is getting these days you'd think the toxic boss would have learned to keep his hands to himself. Horrible man!
BTDT My DD went through something similar recently but she didn't tell me until she'd had the all clear. She feared one more worry would have finished me off at the time! She too was having pain in her breast and underarm and had to be fast-tracked for screening, tests etc. It turned out to be a cyst and it disappeared of its own accord and the pain disappeared with it. Fingers crossed it's something similar in your case.
CRANKY hope you soon feel better.
Take care all xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0 -
DDiL had a job interview at 7.30am this morning. The reason for the anti-social time is that her toxic boss wouldn't let her take half a days holiday for an appointment. Fingers crossed that everything goes well, hopefully it will because they headhunted her.So cant really do a lot in the house of course as not allowed to bend down or twist so seems a good enough excuse to stay put and binge watch something on tv do need to do a wash at some point but I can slowly manage that with the help of a grabber
I should settle down with a good book or something if I were you (actually, I'd probably be playing video games, as I dislike watching tv).If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
BTDT they may give you an ultrasound too xx
Snoozer did your DDiL ever mention it to any other colleague? Might be one for the exit interview with HR
Nelski take it easy hopalong!

Afternoon.
Wanted to jump in to say HELLO and WB to Nelski - please do as your doc advised, no running, jumping or bending too much! One of my DM's friends (i.e. elderly) had two falls within five days of his op, one in the street! His wound opened, infection and pain and the surgeon was less than impressed.
BTW - I've discovered that the BBC have made available a whole load of Dr Who episodes on iPlayer. So far I've watched all of the first series and a couple of the second. They are a great way of 'wasting' time Nelski.
Snoozer - congratulations to your DDiL on her new job! I hope she'll be very happy and valued there.
TA - you'll soon have MrTA up and running again, well, not exactly running but certainly feeling better.
The meter reader phoned me this morning, he was due to come on Thursday but was in the area. As I'd cancelled and rearranged the appointment I was pleasantly surprised. Glad he came.
I've made a lemon drizzle cake and a dish of chicken thighs with chorizo and onions. The new deep tart dish has just arrived so I'm going to have another try at the crisp, peanut an chocolate tart. The plan is to take it to the meeting tomorrow which is over lunchtime. Fingers crossed!0 -
Welcome back Nelski glad to have you back on the thread. Take it easy my friend.
I have to say, Grump has ruined one of his phones leaving it on the car roof and driving off. Never his wallet thankfully but ive washed it by accident a few times and disturbed a few moths in the process.:oThis is a system account and does not represent a real person.
